^ Her passion for saving animals small and big (horses) is what I remember of Doris Day, too.

My fave movie of hers that I remember actually going to see a few times,
was "The Glass Bottom Boat." And the ones with Rock Hudson, too.

Calamity Jane was always my fave of hers. Sad to have her gone, but glad she lived a good long life.

Tim Conway, age 85. Us older farts will know him very well, as someone who kept us in stitches for just trying to make Harvey Korman break character. The Dentist is still, to this day, one of the funniest sketches ever. RIP

You know, we've lost a lot of great people over the last year or so, but it feels so different from 2016... Probably because while we're losing legends, we're losing them to old age rather than cancer or heart attack or stroke or whatever. These older actors are people I grew up watching, so it's sad to see them go, but it's nice to know that they got to live long full lives.
