I would now have to say The Mist.

Dawn of the Dead (Remake)... I freak out everytime a zombie dashes at top speed... awesome...

Technically not a horror movie, but a psychological thriller, 12 Monkeys gives me the creeps...

The original Nightmare on Elm Street is just a classic to me...

I love donkeys more than me.

28 Days Later
Silense Of The Lambs
Dawn Of The Dead (original)
I'd like to count Shaun of the Dead but it's really not a horror film.

EDIT: The Thing too

If we are counting Jaws and Aliens, then it would be as follows for me.

1.Jaws (1975)
2.Aliens (1986)
3.Exorcist (1973)
4.Poltergeist (1982)
5.Dawn of the Dead (2004)

I wrote the book about donkeys!

In no particular order:

Halloween (1978)
The Thing (1982)
Alien (1979)
Poltergeist (1982)
Suspiria (1977)
Black Christmas (1974)
REC (2007)
Event Horizon (1997)
The Shining (1980)
Ringu (1998)
Ju-on (2002)
Audition (1999)
Kairo (Pulse) (2001)
Gin Gwai (The Eye) (2002)
Invasion of The Body Snatchers (1978)

Honerable Mentions:
Videodrome (1983)
28 Days Later (2002)
Candyman (1992)

I'm sure I've left others out. Probably most notably, I left out Exorcist. Although I think it's a well crafted film, I don't find it scary (or really enjoyable) at all. I would actually rank Exorcist 2 or 3 higher.

Also, I don't understand how people consider Jaws a scary movie.

I can't deal with the Saw series, and Scream terrified me when I first watched it as a 13 year old. In no particular order:
- Cube
- Silence of the Lambs (not really scary, but the last scene is great)
- The Shining
- Dog Soldiers deserves a mention for being ridiculous
- Event Horizon - more sci fi, but the uncut version is pretty disturbing
- Don't Look Now - the final scene is pretty much the strangest, most disturbing thing I have seen on film
- The Omen - particularly scary as I released I share my birthday with Damien down to the hour...

The Exorcist. The movie still scares me, but I still watch it.
