This is awesome news for Disney. They're about to turn one of the slowest times of the year into an absolute madhouse between this and the new dynamic pricing model that makes September weekdays their best deal of the year (even now after this announcement).

Yeah, I'm going to wait until like... a month or two after both attractions are open and go on some random weeknight.

Though on the bright side, I bet I'll be able to get on Avatar Flight of Passage more often now.

 Honestly I want to believe this but I doubt it since it's in a different park. Slinky and Swirling Saucers should be a lot easier though (unless they switch up the tiers which they probably should).

Won't the entrance to Star Wars Land require you to go right by Slinky? If the land hits capacity, I see those people possibly hopping to the Toy Story Land rides since they're right there.

I still haven't ridden Slinky Dog and I live 15 minutes away!

I'm a big believer in waiting till crowds die down and not needing to be the OMGFIRSTEVAR!!!! to ride something.

I see both of these opening dates as more like soft openings and they'll figure a LOT out and get everything good to go before the Holiday season.

Speaking of Slinky, does anyone know if they updated that queue line to have shade? I couldn't believe most of the standby queue had none when I rode it last year.

My birthday is August 30. So I’ll have some Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge footage along with Six Flags announcements to look forward to. And hopefully a Six Flags Fiesta Texas visit.
1. The Voyage 2. Intimidator 305 3. Maverick 4. Skyrush 5. Mindbender (Galaxyland) 6. Fury 325 7. Kumba 8. Goliath (Georgia) 9. The Beast 10. Phoenix
I’ve ridden 139 Coasters, and have been a coaster enthusiast since 2013.

They have not. Luckily it was cloudy while we were in line.

That said, we only waited about an hour and we Fastpassed or walked on basically everything for two days straight except for that, River Journey and Frozen Ever After so I can't really complain about the wait.

^ That's lucky; I'm still shocked they haven't put shade there.

As far as we can see, you'll have one entrance from Toy Story Land and one from Grand Avenue. I don't recall if there will be a third one.
