CosmicMyst
I went to the Amory Railroad Festival carnival back on April. The provider was PBJ Happee Days Shows (yes this is a real company and they have a website). This event is one of their smaller size ones in terms of the number of rides they bring (they bring 10-12 rides usually because of the small space, but they own over 25 I think). But what’s odd is they haven’t had a Carousel there since 2011 (it was taken out from 2008-2010, but returned once in 2011) In the past they’ve brought rides such as a Larson Fireball, one time they brought a Gravitron, and they’ve also had a Tilt-A-Whirl, Bumper Cars, a Super Shot in 2015&2016, a Wisdom Himalaya from 2013-2016, and in 2017 they had their brand new Cliff Hanger There was this car&motorcycle ride for the little kids Sizzler (this was recently updated with LEDs last year; last year was the first time its been here since 2012) Sizzler again (with the Flatline 360 in the background) They brought their new Expo Wheel this year (they now own that Wheel, a technical Park Dream Wheel, and another technical park gondola wheel) They had a Cobra Coaster for the kids Expo Wheel and the slide Walking down the midway Tea Cups and Monkey Maze (never doing that one again cus last time I hurt my butt when I landed on the concrete after I went down the slide at the end cus someone moved the rug you’re supposed to land on) Here’s a better shot of the Monkey Maze Looking down the relatively empty midway (it’s usually more crowded than this, especially on armband days) Zero Gravity tilted on its side One of the carnival games Moby Dick They finally decided to put a sign up telling people not to put on their lap bars until the ride ops push the lap bar button (I was one of the few that followed the rule before) Zero Gravity Front of the Sizzler
Canobie Coaster
That beer bust game sums up a carnival perfectly. Good report!
CosmicMyst
It was relatively empty (partially because of rain), but it can get pretty crowded
cparkes92
It's carnival season! Next weekend is the infamous Irons Flea Roast and Ox Market (which also includes a large flea market and musical performances). The weekend after that, most if not all of the rides at Irons park in a beach parking lot walking distance from my house.
CosmicMyst
They had the exact same rides as last year (which was an awful year, it rained on Saturday and was cold on sunday) except for the new Ferris Wheel
