The Angry Darren Mullins
February 8, 2018: Xinhu Park in Maoming, Guangdong, China This old park is in western Guangdong. It recently went through a renovation and all of the rides were replaced with new rides. There is a common jungle mouse here and two powered kiddie coasters. There is also a nice flume ride. The park is located in the city center in Maoming and is a nice place to relax. A couple of downsides are that the kiddie coasters, depsite having photos that show adults riding, do not seem to carry adults...or maybe they just found it strange that I would want to ride them. They said it would break the ride. Seriously. The other downside is that the big rides are a bit expensive. It was 30 RMB (currently USD $4.80) for the mouse. I found this park before ACE or RCDB a few years ago, but did not visit until now. I have now ridden 1130 coasters and found 411 coasters before ACE or RCDB. I have arrived at Xinhu Park. I love the entrance to this place. This neat bridge is in the park. This lake is in the park. Ahhh yes...a jungle mouse. Coaster #1130 for me to ride. It is like so many others I have visited. A nice flume is here. I took this picture while boats were going down both drops. Here is the carousel shot for this place. This is a walk through attraction. The park has this little kiddie coaster. They will not let adults ride-despite having a picture of adults riding with kids. They told me that it will cause the coaster to come off the track. The park also has the kiddie coaster and again, adult passengers are shown on the ride, but I was denied a spin. Here is another look at this to finish the TR.
