Hey Jake Great reports and photos. It's always great to see someones trip report from a trip you have been on yourself. It brings back great memories that have already been filed away in the back of your mind and nice to see someone elses experience at a park you were at. I also always love the plane photos and trivia too.
Day 3 Took us to Tivoli Gardens right in the center of Copenhagen. Hands down, this is one of the most beautiful and "fun" theme parks around. We had a great day here!!! I really like this update
BTW, it's hard to pick only certain photos for a trip report. I try to pick the ones that help tell the story of our day at the parks and mix in a few artsy ones. If you wanna see more higher res photos, I can post links to my Flickr albums.
Welcome to Tivoli Gardens!
Our morning started off with ERT on the ONLY B&M of the trip...Demon!
All you see is a mess of tangled track. Definitely one of the more unique B&M layouts.
Don't you love this kind of view of Copenhagen?
And here we go!
First drop fun
0g roll was definitely the best part :)
Best part of TPR trips -> Unlimited ERT!
We then moved over to the Scenic Railway, where Jacob gave us a great tour of the ride!
Only in Europe.
This is where the trains enter the storage/maintenance area from the mountain
Love the classic trains!
Once on top of the mountain, the park was super cool and let us board at the top and let us ride down!
Have fun guys!
Here we are boarding inside the top of the mountain.
Gotta love the airtime on these things!
With the lights on you can see how insanely close the walls are. Once again, never in America.
How about a full cycle ride?
Goats and airtime
Seriously this was an epic ERT session. Especially with Jacob as your brake man ;)
Once open, it was time to explore the park. First stop, Vertigo!
I don't know what to say other than this was one of the most insane rides I have ever been on. So many forces and flips. Great program!
Kiddie coaster credit!
Niel is a whore.
Make sure to recycle your cups for 5 kroner! Once again, Europe rules.
Oh yeah, this is Tivolo Gardens after all :)
Last coaster of the day was the powered.
It was fun just walking around and taking in the sights.
Dark ride boobs!
Anyone recognize these characters?
The park is just beautiful. And I feel like there should be a thread for rides on top of other rides ;)
The last unique attracting was the shooting boat ride!
Classic disappearing waterfall.
How about slides?
Fun houses are great fun. But as Nolan learned, very easy to get hurt in ;)
How about some off ride shots of Demon?
Very close to the ground!
Did I mention how nice the park is?
Rick shows off his chocolate covered bits
TPR takeover on the crazy bumper cars!
Seriously, these things were deadly. And watch out for evil 7 year old Danish girls. They will kill you.
Mirror roof selfie!
A very photogenic coaster
Love the colors
How about an evening ride with Jacob?
We gave Demon another spin as well.
A mini marathon on the Scenic Railway was a great way to end the night. Thanks to Jacob for the kickass rides!
A park visit is not complete with a big ass ice cream
As the park closed, it finally started to get dark for some night photos :)
Just sit back and enjoy...
Thanks for reading! Leave your comments and next up we head down to a screwed up park...Bon Bon Land!
