I love how much they love the rodents over there! Also, this all looks based on the Ufufy collection.

I always find it funny how much Chip, Dale and Stitch seems to have won over so many fans to be big sellers on so much merchandise in Asia... poor Goofy. A couple of times I've picked up group set packs of something and the 4 pack is: Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Stitch taking the 4th slot. Not an issue for me since Chip, Dale and Stitch are some of my favorite characters that I always try and get a photo with at the parks but I know some friends who got fed up of the overabundance of Stitch. Same people who don't mind all the Chip and Dale though. ;) I can see their point, I really enjoyed the first movie but there was a lot of sequels and tv shows. I still remember the crowd giving the biggest cheer of the night during Fantasmic when he popped out of the hat and his girlfriend zoomed past on a jet-ski.

Heck, a lot of my younger Korean students don't know where he's from since the movies aren't re-run very often and have no idea who Lilo is. They just know of Stitch the character from the abundance of stationery, indoor shoes (I have a pair for work as well for the kindergarten classes) toys and stuffed animals etc.

Will be the first time I'm going to a Disney year-long celebration. Can't imagine how long the lines are going to be. Good thing I'm going with a certain group that may or may not start with the letter A

^ Believe it or not, Tokyo Disney is really good with dealing with long lines and huge crowds at both parks.
But it's still a bit of an easier visit if you can go on a weekday, rather than the weekend.

This just in! The folks at http://www.tdrexplorer.com are giving away one of the Buzz Lightyear Popcorn Buckets!

Contest starts tomorrow, Japan time, and ends on October 8th (Japan time). :mickey:

I know this is killing my chances even more to winning one, but hey - everybody should have a chance, right?

Go to the website, log into one of the available contact methods/browsers (?), find the form, and enter! That's it.

And as they posted... "anyone in the world can enter". =)

Also coming up at TDLR...

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced details of its new Pixar Playtime event. Running January 11 – March 19, 2018, at DisneySea, the event includes Pixar-themed games, character greetings, and new food and merchandise.

Fun and Games

This winter, Tokyo DisneySea will host Pixar Playtime, a celebration of Pixar Studios with a competitive twist. New gaming booths themed to different Pixar movies will host fun challenges for guests of all ages. Booths will include a miniature version of the house from Up, a Cars pitstop, and the kitchen from Ratatouille. There is no word on any prizes yet, but during the summer’s Natsu Matsuri event gaming booths offered summer-themed prizes, so we’ll wait and see what Pixar Playtime has in store…

Thanks to http://www.tdrexplorer.com for the information and the photos. :mickey:

(The merchandise and special themed foods/snacks look AWESOME, too!)
