You know Robb, if it wasn't for that North East Trip, I would be all over this! This West Coast Bash fits right into my Spring Break, but I got to focus on the bigger trip! Hopefully you guys will continue doing this, as you do an amazing job, I'd love to try this out another year.

I hope everyone has a blast! (Especially riding the new roller coasters, whichever open!)

Loved last year and I pretty much turned my friend into enthusiasts. For anyone who is on the fence, both of my friends are not into theme park much, they like rides, but have very little/no interest in ride manufacturing/the ride itself or theme park information and news. I was enthusiastic and excited, yet my friends both begrudgingly paid, saying there is no way it would be worth it. To this day each one of them will tell you that West Coast Bash was BY FAR the best day they have ever had at a theme park, and as of now both have set aside some money specifically for West Coast Bash, each each say it was EASILY worth all the money! Seriously, come to this event, it is honestly the most awesome day I have had at ANY(including Disney)theme park EVER, and this is coming from someone who is a much larger Disney fanboy than a six flags fanboy. There is a reason why Robb is so well liked by coaster enthusiasts, and it is not just for his knowledge or sense of humor, it has a lot to do with his relationships with the parks as well as his ability to plan an event that gets better every year.

Also last year I was(unfortunately) only able to go to SFMM, but this year I will be at both days, and am eagerly anticipating West Coast Bash!

The please let March 19th come quickly Ghost

Does anyone know the attendance at last year's event? Actually, it would be really cool to know the attendance at WCB for the last few years.

If anyone's on the fence about this, don't hesitate. One of the best times I've ever had. As long as there's a WCB I'll be there.

I will Definitely be attending this year as well, 4 years in a row!!! I will be without a vehicle so will probably end up taking a greyhound bus/train, unless any Nor-Cal peeps will be leaving from, or traveling through San Jose! I will probably be looking to split a room with someone as well. Send me a PM if anyone feels like helping out!

According to the photos for the past events, there were 320 people in 2008 and just over 700 for 2009. I didn't see any mention of attendance figures for 2010, but judging by how much fun everyone says this event is, I would be surprised if it wasn't still growing in size.

Is there a limit to how many spots that can be sold for the event?

Red "wishies there were more parks in MD" Shadow

Where in MD? I'm in Reston, VA. I am also the only one in my family who goes to theme parks. Send me a PM. Mike
