^ That place has really inconsistent hours. Not only does it close early when it's open, but I've seen it closed on random summer days.

Six Flags Great Escape Resort, New York’s most thrilling resort property, will rebrand its outdoor waterpark as Hurricane Harbor for the 2019 season, offering guests a bigger, better and wetter experience. The park will undergo a major expansion with more to see and do than ever before, including two brand-new, family attractions: Bucket Blasters, where riders will spin around in barrels for a good old-fashioned water gun battle, and Shipwreck Cove, a fun activity pool with interactive water sprays, geysers, and fountains for hours of water play entertainment.

I like how Bucket Blasters sounds like it'll be placed in the water park. I found the Aqua Twist quite fun at Discovery Kingdom, but it's an absolute drencher so it's more appropriate for the water side.

Wonder if the park will be renamed Six Flags Great Escape?

Also they're adding shade structures and a new food place

I'm not too sure. I remember they used to have the Looney Tunes kids area 5-6 years ago but then it became a generic area. When they took that away, I was sort of skeptical if the name would ever be Six Flags Great Escape. But we'll see!

I wonder where these new attractions are going to go, as the water park here is divided into two levels between a very steep hill and all the space is taken up for the most part. I could see the flat ride in front of the Comet being moved in order to accommodate this. I hope this doesn't spell the ending of the Bobsled...

They do have the plot by the old Pirate Ship I could see them using.

So I've been hearing people refer to TGE as Six Flags Great Escape now, You think Looney Tunes might come back?

^Although not impossible I would be extremely surprised if that happened. Even though people might start refering to the park as "Six Flags Great Escape" the park itself is not really flagged and I think Timbertown is a better fit for the Great Escape than the Looney Tunes.
