The Great Escape (TGE) Discussion ThreadP. 67 - Bucket Blasters & Hurricane Harbor for 2019Users viewing this topic: No registered users and 1 guest Re: The Great Escape (TGE) Discussion Thread^ That place has really inconsistent hours. Not only does it close early when it's open, but I've seen it closed on random summer days.

The park will undergo a major expansion with more to see and do than ever before, including two brand-new, family attractions: Bucket Blasters, where riders will spin around in barrels for a good old-fashioned water gun battle, and Shipwreck Cove, a fun activity pool with interactive water sprays, geysers, and fountains for hours of water play entertainment.

I found the Aqua Twist quite fun at Discovery Kingdom, but it's an absolute drencher so it's more appropriate for the water side.

I remember they used to have the Looney Tunes kids area 5-6 years ago but then it became a generic area. When they took that away, I was sort of skeptical if the name would ever be Six Flags Great Escape. But we'll see!

Re: The Great Escape (TGE) Discussion ThreadI wonder where these new attractions are going to go, as the water park here is divided into two levels between a very steep hill and all the space is taken up for the most part. I could see the flat ride in front of the Comet being moved in order to accommodate this. I hope this doesn't spell the ending of the Bobsled...
Re: The Great Escape (TGE) Discussion ThreadThey do have the plot by the old Pirate Ship I could see them using.
