^Cedar Point is the New York Yankees of the industry. People are going to hate just because it's Cedar Point. Plain and simple.

Regarding food, go to ANY major park in the country, Universal, Six Flags, PARC, Cedar Fair, etc., and I guarantee you'll see pretty uniformed overpricing across the board. The quality is exactly the same at most of, if not all Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. If anything, the quality at Cedar Point is one of the best amongst the CF and SF group because it's a resort and has some sit-down restaurants on site. I see nothing wrong with the food there, it's on par with (if not greater than) every other Cedar Fair, PARC, and Six Flags park I have been to.

Exactly, how is a T.G.I Fridays ont he beach bad food? Makes no sense to me.

Whoever said the trims ruin the ride, PHOOEY I say!

I rode Intimidator305 for the first time in June after all the trims were in place and absolutley loved it. Luckly, I didn't black-out on my ride, but I do have many other experiences with greying out. Greying out can be pretty scary, but usually you come out of it. As for the strap restraints, they're amazing. I didn't ride it with the OTSRs, but I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if I did.

Intimidator305 is an incredible ride in my opinion, so I think you will enjoy it too.

Oh yes, blacking out. It really is nothing, you just lose your vision for a few seconds. It doesn't hurt at all or have any after-effects.

Why do I still have a donkey title???

^ Exactly, and if someone thinks the food isn't that great at TGI Friday's, then how is that Cedar Point's fault? It should be a matter taken up with *gasp* TGI Fridays! Not Cedar Point.

^^ That's very true, never really thought of it that way.

Here's a little tip, if you feel yourself losing your sight due to the blood being drained from your head, immediately tighten your ab muscles as much as you comfortably can. If that doesn't work right away, try tightening the muscles in your arms and legs also. That should push some blood back to where it's supposed to be. As others have said, it's no big deal, but this could help return your sight faster than it coming back on its own.

The greying out is not, and never was, that big of a deal. Your vision goes a bit dark for a moment. A second later its fine. No big deal.

I really like I305's sketch of how they could do Alien Outpost. And for those who think it's expensive; it's not as expensive as building a new coaster. The park could easily afford it and get the money back very quickly. You all make it sound like loads of people aren't driving off I-95 to pay ticket prices to get in the park. Kings Dominion makes tones of money and gets it back when they add stuff. Thats why they are able to keep us entertained each and every year. If they weren't getting any money back then the park would not be getting new stuff.

As for a new gray building, it would be better in the long run. The Alien Outpost maze could be much bigger and scarier if it had more room. With it using FoF's queue area, it limits how much they can do. They were limited on how many curves they could do because they still had to have enough room to lead you out the side of where you first walk in and around the perimeter of the queue, to continue on in the UFO. Altogether, the maze is not long enough, to consider closing down a major ride. Avalanche on the other hand is not a major ride that loads of people are standing in line for. Close that thing down and use that area to do a maze. Don't close a major ride that tones of people stand in line for, for such a short maze.

I do agree with the other comment that was made. I305's line will be much longer during Haunt, when FoF closes for the maze.

^ Please do not turn this into a "What KD should do" thread like you did with the SFA thread. Please keep discussion to what is going on at the park. Thank you.

Sorry about that. I went off into a tangent again.

In other news, is there any word on what Kings Dominion will be doing for 2011 season. Any new attractions, to look forward to?
