It's still early in the season, so no crew is going to be perfect, but we're trying our best, and the announcements to when the train will be leaving are definitely helping speed thing up. As for the park being pack, I was shocked at how busy it was, as one week before, Superman barely had a line! Thanks again for the nice words about the Superman crew!

You're very welcome! Even with a full queue for the front row, it was only taking about 20 minutes. Usually it takes 30-40 minutes so I appreciate the speed.

Last year was a particularly bad year for the coaster, but I believe they tend to get it running in May.

Chasehat wrote:They seem to be running a different type of wheels on Superman this season as these ones are yellow instead of the normal blue ones. And I very much agree it’s running faster now than I can ever remember it this early in the year. If it keeps up come summer time the thing will be an absolute rocket ship.

I agree! I'm excited to see just how fast this thing will get in the summer.

No, but when it opens I give it a solid 3 days of semi-consistent operation before going back into rehab for the remainder of the season.

Oh come on! I want a Road Runner plush too!

I read from SFNEOnline forums they are testing the Cyborg ride in the building now. I'm not the one to tell you to go look in the window or put your ear to it, but I know VIP day is May 29th and therefore it is actually opening in June like last year's Cyborg ride.

Oh I forgot to mention that the small rails on the grass in the photo might be from the station in order to take off the train. I read this on reddit though so take it with a grain of salt.

^ Ah maybe they've done this in past years then. I've just never noticed.

Wicked Cyclone has been down most of today. They took the blue train off to glue padding back on the front seat. Now they're cycling orange but its throwing up some error code that the mechanics are trying to figure out. This is going to be my first coaster of the season, I'm not giving up! They're going to drag me out of here kicking and screaming if I don't get my ride on this!!

* edited train colors.

Wicked Cyclone was having trouble last Saturday too. It kept going up and down all day. The control panel seemed to be having an issue with one of the trains (forget which color).
