O'Rourke Wrecking Company posted a video of Firehawk's lift hill being demo'd, on their Facebook page today. They've finished demo on everything to the right of the lift hill, as well as some of the straight sections of track on the left. It's odd to see the loop sitting, untouched, amidst the track fragments that still remain.

I wonder how many people are still in line waiting for it to come back up from mechanical difficulties.

As the lift fell, does anyone else think it looks like an AT-AT or some Star Wars robot being destroyed? Anyone? Just me... ok.

As sad as I am to see a fun (yes, I said it) coaster die, it's exciting to think what can and will rise from the ashes.

I'm a know-it-all about donkeys!

^As sad as it is to see a coaster I enjoyed getting ripped apart, I'm not gonna lie, seeing the lift hill crest crushed upon hitting the ground was satisfying.

So a composer who has done work for Disney is working on a project for Kings Island. Fountain show, Fireworks show, or station music?

I am leaning towards new fireworks show. I assumed they were just going to use classical music for the fountain shows.
