Hey everybody!

This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Europa Park, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page.

Original Post:

The new attraction of Europapark open the 19 but was open for press and VIp the 17th.
This Water Coaster / Splash will be placed in the new Portugal area. This year, opening of the splash, rest of the area will be built for 2006 with another new attraction (an indoor attraction .. dark ride ?) and another part of the queue line of Atlantica.

For this pre-opening, the attration dont have water fall like Journey To Atlantis at SW Orlando and the boats will be arm with a system to do more huge wave.

You can found lot of pics here :

So, is it a coaster, or a boat ride?? :D When will the debate start? We just got our reservation confirmation for Hotel El Anduluz so I'm excited!

IMO, it's a boat ride...probably the BEST damn looking splashdown boat ride I've ever seen! But there's nothing about it that makes me say "That's a coaster." I mean, Splash Mountain also has all those elements, and it's not a coaster....

I have seen these pictures a few days before. It is a "Mack" water coaster. I think it looks a little bit like a lower version of the Journey to Atlantis attraction! However, I think that attraction makes a lot of fun. I will ride Atlantica SuperSplash this summer.

The coaster is 23meters high and 65 km/h fast.

For a little kiddies ride that's quite a big turn!

by Reon too awesome to be a kiddie credit. If only (CF/P)KI had invested in one of those...It would make a nice 'Avatar' if they cleared off enough land..
