Abenteuer Atlantis (Atlantis Adventure) is the new interactive dark ride at Europa-Park where visitors can dive down into the deep sea since the 2007 season. It is located at the Greece area of the park and it was built by MACK Rides.
You can find a english review of the attraction at lifthill.net with some technical details, construction pics and an interview with Michel den Dulk, the designer of Europa-Park.
Looks great and I like how it appears to have a continous cycle of cars compared to most non Disney dark rides where each car is loaded seperate and has horrible capacity. I wish all dark rides were like that.
*Imagines a grandpa telling his grandchildren about how he met the Oversized Lava-Vomiting Crab in Europa Park's Abenteuer Atlantis when he was young and how it was the funniest/creepiest thing he'd ever seen in his life!*
This ride looks fun, but it looks like something you might find at Morey's Piers.(see Photo TR from Robb and Elissa's trip in '04) Europa Park looks like a really nice park, but from the photos, this ride seemed really rushed.
