However, I did get to ride it in 2013, but would like to ride it again.

I do not believe so. And there are tales the seatbelts are even shorter this season (but I think that tale circulates every season).

It actually doesn’t shock me if it was. I am a 6’1 175 lb high school athlete and the seat belt was almost too short for me yesterday... I would consider myself to be fit and at a normal body weight. Don’t feel bad if you don’t make it because the ride isn’t that good anyway.

Wicked Twister probably has the most restrictive restraints of any coaster in America.

I'm 5'9 about 195, not overweight but not skinny. And I've had trouble with the WT seatbelts. That ride probably gets the most walk of shames of any coaster I've seen.

Steel Vengeance has been closed practically all day, even for early entry.

Currently wait has been 2 hours while they cycle empty trains every 20 mins or so.

Last ride of the day so we're waiting it out.

^ Cycling multiple trains every 20 minutes or just the same one train every 20 minutes?

I agree!
The weird thing is, we were just at vallyfair last summer and I fit comfortably into the same coaster.

Apparently one of the trains launched without the restraint locked, causing them to e-stop and evacuate Steel Vengeance. (per Reddit)

Hopefully all these issues get all worked out over time, right now, SV almost seems more unreliable than TTD.

Since the ride opened for the day it hasn't gone down. I call bullsh*t.

If the restraint wasn't functioning properly they wouldn't be running the ride.

Or, they would just block off that seat.
