I just received my answer to the above question;
There has been revisions to the NOD, the latest dated 3-22-18. I have attached the most recent revised NOD. The NOD is valid for 5 years, so this would expire 3-22-2023.

As you can see, there has been revisions on dating back to 3-22-18 and this permit is good until 3-22-2023. This is still an active, ongoing pursuit for Valleyfair! We all thought it was dead but it is not dead. Plus we know that this work won't start until funding approval is given for the waterpark/parking lot project. So, Cedar Fair has some real deadlines to work within unless they want to get an extension. I'm just going out on a limb here and I'm going to predict that Cedar Fair will act on these permits and work within the deadlines. They may need an extension for the AC of E permit due to its expiration at the end of 2020. But that work can be completed before that date. So, look for work to begin in the spring as soon as they can get out there!
