^As long as they don’t put VR on The Flying Dinosaur I’ll count my blessings...

I thought VR on Galactica was bad during the Gs during the fly to lie element. I shudder to think how nauseating and difficult it would be to keep the headset in place on a ride far more intense like Flying Dinosaur.

Honestly, that's the way I read it too, I'd assume the movie only works well facing in a certain direction, isn't that also why Space Fantasy gets its capacity cut in half?

They'll lock it onto your head.

Just a guess. ;)

^ When I've done VR on rides with high Gs, the VR headset can shift and move a bit even after it's tightened down. I had this issue on both Galactica during the fly to lie and SFNE's Superman during all the airtime hills.

Glad to hear you think the same. I think we both have a LOT of experience trying to translate bad asian translations! ;)

Don't they also shorten the train from 4 cars to 2 cars as well? I thought I remember seeing 2 car trains last year.

^I tend to visit outside of Cool Japan when the overlay is happening, and I could be wrong but aren't they always two-car trains? They look joined because of the moving walkway for constant loading/unloading but when I did single-rider I was in the backwards seat of the second car and I remember it separating out once we left the loading station.

I've only ridden it when the VR was being used. The RCDB listing says it's 4 cars per train with 4 passengers each, which is the configuration used for most other Mack spinners. I assumed that was correct, but maybe that listing isn't.

^During our visit during the last Cool Japan event, Detective Conan on Space Fantasy had four cars per train with two passengers per car as the rear-facing seats were not in use.
