Heide Park Discussion Thread

Postby Sebbe » Thu Mar 09, 2006 10:47 am

Hey everybody!

This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Heide Park, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page.

The front view makes it look like a prison. I like the side angle view though.

Yeah, the first picture reminds me of either a Prison or a school (same difference!) The second one looks more castle-like though. Best thing of all....Pirate Bar! Wonder if TPR will stay here on their Europe trip, whatever year that may be. :)
All clear....

Dispatch, enjoy your ride.

Heide Park Discussion Thread

Through a mailing for season pass holders, Heide Park annouced its long awaited new coaster for 2007 : Desert Race.

It will be located alongside Colossos.
It will feature a launch of 0-100 km/h in 2,4 seconds.
That's all the info the park came up with so far.

Very cool! May not be the fastest, but it looks like it'll be a fun ride and a nice layout, and a bit more lengthy than most launched coasters we've seen lately.
All clear....

Dispatch, enjoy your ride.

Looks pretty cool, perhaps a Premier coaster like Italian Job.
