SFMM's website has some options for public transportation listed on its directions page if you scroll to the bottom:

Metro Red Line—North Hollywood 757 Express route:
From Downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Red Line to the North Hollywood Station. Then take the North Hollywood 757 Express bus to the McBean Regional Transit Station (MRTC). From there connect to a Santa Clarita Transit routes 3 & 7 to Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Didn't know they had public transportation routs on their site! And they are accurate as that is the route I took. If I had to gripe it would be about having to transfer twice but I literally got off one bus onto the other with no time in between. I definitely recommend it if you have at least 2 hours before and after the park to spare.

Im in NY now but I've lived in SCV my whole life...best advice to to take Uber/Lyft.

Its NOT that pricy, especially if you and a friend or 2 can split the cost, and 1000000000x more convenient.

^ Here is a link to help you navigate public transportation in and around the LA area. I use it as my bible when there!

Tell me more about SFMM in the 90's. It sounds like the Wild West.

West Coast Racers apparently ran a test launch on the yellow side last night. The train reached the first hill and then rolled back into the station.
I’m at the park right now. There are some guys working on the LSMs on the yellow launch, but I haven’t seen any test runs so far.

The street taco place is open apparently by Apocalypse. Lot of empty space currently in the "Underground" area, hope they do theme it out a bit more over the coming month(s).

I don't know why so many are excited to have west coast racers open, it's a 10 sec ride. Lol
Gwazi means Tiger head on Lion body in Swahili language, so here's Crocodile themed trains.
