Frade Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Hello everybody How is everybody going? Well, La Feria de Chapultepec Mágico is going to open a new coaster in the next months. Here are some pics of the construction area and pictures of the coaster. Enjoy
ParkTrips Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 no fucking way! edit: OMG is that a shuttle loop in the background too? Time to hit travelocity...
fmulder21 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 For a while it was rumoured that they were getting Viper from AW...
methylene Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Viper was scrapped. My first coaster. *sniff* Matt
coaster1 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 More reason to finish my plans to hit Mexico City.
QueerRudie Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 (Putting on my Doc Martens and starting to skank happily in circles)- Wow. Now I know I've got to cash some of my FF Miles and head there- a Schwartzkopf SHuttle Loop AND Drier Looping in one park- WHOA!!!!
Golfie Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 La Feria de Chapultepec Mágico! Nosotros aprendemos about this en la clase de espanol! ^LOL
Frade Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 Lol, good to hear you are learning spanish Andrew, any question about any homework just ask me ok. Later buddy
Frade Posted June 12, 2006 Author Posted June 12, 2006 I will keep you informed about the construction of the roller coaster, and if I can some pictures. Later If any one is coming to Mexico City, let me know so I can show you the city, go to the theme parks, and protect you, since you know it is Mexico City ( insecure ) and tourists just go to the ugly and dangerous zones, and never get to go to the really nice and safe zones. Later
apollo210 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 THis is great! I thought that Magnum Force was going to be Scrapped! Thanks La Feria de Chapultepec for saving this coaster!
Frade Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 Hello Today I went to see the place where the entire coaster is being painted. It was really cool being around and watching the progress of this coaster. Just check out the pics. Enjoy ..and for even MORE photos click HERE!!!
ECZenith Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Lookin' sharp! It's good to see this coaster get some love before it's set up. Thanks a lot for the great pictures, keep us posted!
suave1226 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 As long as it doesn't get neutered like Thriller did Im happy that the coaster has a new home
Sparebear75 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Love the new paint! Thankfully we didn't loose another Schwartzkopf.
Jon Sabo Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 CP-take note. There ARE other colors in the spectrum of paint codes..lol Looks good, love the yellow!..
kennywood!007 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 How high is this coaster? It looks pretty high in the pics you first posted!
JamminJ Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 ^^Here is the RCDB entry for the coaster, at its previous location at Flamingo Land in England. Now if we can just figure out where Bullet went... -J (Who smells a weekend trip..)
apollo210 Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Bullet is still up for sale. Anyways, the coaster looks great! Love how it brightened up!
martinb Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Its sad to see it half way across the world, but its good to see it in a new home, and it looks like it could be s permanent home, they've done a good job with the paint(you just need sunglasses to ride it). Now you Mexicans look after good ol' Magnum Force. -Martyn "Must....Find......Bullet" Branford
verticalzero Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Shame "Magnum Force" has left the UK, I did not get the chance to ride it. A UK Park should of bought it along with "Thriller".
Shockwave Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Awesome stuff! And it's probably closer to Joe now than when it operated at Flamingoland. Six Flags Mexico and La Feria might be on the coaster menu very soon!
