I'm a bit dissapointed now, that I visited Oakwood last year, when they've now got the amazing looking Speed also I wish Hydro would still have lapbars. Anyway, bring on the next update! In Cornwall last year at Crealy they had about 4 of them and one of them was about 3 times the height of the one in the update. It would be hard 'not' to though as its a great little theme park with an emphasis on fun over thrills. But the addition of Speed has really knocked the thrill factor up a peg or two. Oh and speed looks insane! But we at Belgium have a NINETY FIVE degree drop aswell! I actually thought it was NINETY SEVEN, I'm not sure... It's Typhoon @ Bobbejaanland. Speed looks alot cooler though. Oh, and dont mind people crying for updates, it's your vacation too, and we all appreciate (spelling?) that you make some time free to putt those pictures on the web. Hereby: Thank you! Edit: Darn, tried to get the Speed POV again but you added a stream version and it screws up my browser. Time for updates. I think you spend more time out of your seat than you do in it on Speed Then this waaaaaay OMG Airtime off the top of the first drop, well what goes up must come down, (unless of course its your breakfast & that works in reverse) Hate to tell you this guys it goes this way, on the straightest piece of track Speed has Robb & Dan trying to work out which way speed leaves the station Forwards or Backwards?? Drayton was very quiet with no queues so lots of rides on everything. Hope everyone is having fun up Blackpool and the weather gets better for the rest of the trip. It wasn't a POV, sorry, it was more a filming of the entire ride. Elissa Friendly Food! We had several ACErs among us We get a private room for lunch Oh yeah, an exclusive shot The real reason for the walkback (Robb scared the sheep away) Exclusive shot of Megafobia's first drop and the back of Robb's head Got wood? Which sheep did this? It doesn't get much more coaster geeky than this We get to go to the "restricted area" behind Megafobia to check out the sheep poo This counts as FOUR credits Snake River Falls is a water slide ride (probably more inspiration for Chris Sawyer) Credit denied! This was probably the inspiration for the log trains in RCT Treetops was a decent kiddie coaster. Most of the ride is hidden in the forest, though it never goes into the tree tops Megafobia has headchoppers, and this is just the queue It just goes to show that WD-40 can be used to fix everything This was supposed to be a shot of Robb setting up his camera, but ended up being a shot of a ride-op jumping over the track Just in case you forget who made the ride you're on It's true. Pets are NOT allowed on Speed We love Gerstlauer! While this is not the first Euro-fighter, I believe this is the tallest. "Exclusive" shots were a common sight on this trip The ride is named after the program the designers used to design the ride Looking back at the vertical lift. I hope those anti-rollbacks work properly Robb attaching the lipstick cam to the back of Speed Derek loved Speed. It has a vertical loop, a vertical lift, and a beyond vertical drop. Nice shot of the coach and Dan's favorite Intamin ride Parks give us extra perks with official TPR wristbands.
