loopy&dippy
Hi this is my first post, so hello to all. I have just calculated what the current price of fuel is in US dollars. Currently near me it is £0.91 per litre. Mulitply by 4.54 to convert to UK Gallon = £4.13 per uk gallon To convert to US gallons, muliply by 1.2 = £4.97 per us gallon Using a ballpark figure of $1.80 to £1 = $8.95 per gallon. And you think your hard done by. :o
Token Yankee Guy
^ Actually, it's 1 GBP = 1.91 USD So it's really $9.52/Gallon
Shockwave
I really hope that the oil refineries get blockaded like in 2000, that's the only way that prices are ever gonna drop over here. Even if it means not using my car for a few days. I'm fed up of having my arms pulled off every time I fill up. Currently it costs me just under £40 to my FIAT Punto. It's only a 1.1 engine, so it gets a pretty good MPG, but fuel prices are seriously extortionate.
Real
it WAS 2.03. Now its 2.23!! Really, I wouldnt mind the prices if they would stay SOMEWHERE CONSISTANT. Thats the most annoying part. One morning you think "ok, on the way back from work Ill pick up gas" Only to find that in a 4 hour span (yes, 4 hour, part time job) its gone up 25 cents!! RtherBOnACoaster
Today in Carlsbad, it was $2.69 for 87 octane, so multiply that by 11 which is about $29.59 to fill up the Mustang! Hopfully President Bush's energy plan on maybe building more refinerys will work. One hasent been built in 30 years!
CoasterCrazy
I filled my car up yesterday and it cost me $31.26 to fill it up!
Sir Clinksalot
Well, here its around £0.90 pence for a litre of unleaded. Thats about $1.50 in dollars. So, for a gallon here its about £4.09pence. Which would be $7.21 in American Dollars. So, if you think your prices suck, try living here.
AllisonY2K
2.24 - regular 2.34 - midgrade 2.44 - premium add $0.10 to each for Sarasota's gas prices (10 minutes south). I budget $30 for gas every 2 weeks. That usually is enough to get me to/from work.
RtherBOnACoaster
When we were driving home on Highway 395 out in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, in the middle of no ware I saw... $3.19 $3.29 $3.39 in Mono Lake area.

ebl
Here in Camarillo, it's about $2.50-$2.60/gallon for regular, then add a dime for each higher grade. There is one station here in town (a Union 76) that's charging $3.89 for full serve premium. Who in their right mind would pay that? Eric

I was surprised that when I was living in Las Vegas, that the gas prices were a lot cheaper compared to CT and MA.
