I now shop at Stop and Shop in bulk whenever they offer worth while discounts on gas, Last week I bought seven 12-pack boxes of Pop Tarts for $15 (I love Pop Tarts, a perfect snack in my profession) and this allowed my to save $0.50 a gallon on gas at Shell.

It's about $3.90/gallon where I live, but I can get gas for $3.29 seven miles away in New Jersey, but then there is a stupid $13 toll for the bridge.

I just payed $4.19 a gallon for regular at a cheap Arco station.

For some reason, since gas prices went up in California, there has been a lot more people on the road, or so it seems. People drive a heck of a lot slower than usual in my area now, therefore causing a lot of traffic. Don't know if the two are related, but luckily I'm a long distance runner.

Most places around here are sitting at a nasty $3.89 per gallon for regular. Getting dangerously close to that dreaded $4 level.

I don't know how you folks in California do it! You guys are constantly dealing with some of the highest prices (if not THE highest prices) for gas in the country!!
