EuroTre
I have recently been interested in Busch Garden's Drachen Fire coaster- R.I.P.- and have some questions: What was the ride like? Did It have on The Hump (smirk)? Was It Painfull? Why Did They Remove One Of The Corkscrews? Where Is It Now?
sfgadviperboi
Drachen Fire did have Airtime on the hump out of the inversion into the batwing. They removed a corkscrew to attempt to smooth out the transition into the loop. They added a long brake run to that area. I did not find the ride rough at all and believed their reason for removal from an outsiders perspective to be assinine(sp) and there has still not been a decent multi looper built since its demise. mightypotato
Where Is It Now? The ride was dismantled and sold for scrap. Its probably been melted down and used in something else. Its a shame though, as soon as I started getting interested in roller coasters, they removed Drachen Fire.
Vekoma Fan Boy
What do you think the ride would be like if it were a B&M Sit-Down or Stand-up or floorless
Spideyfreak
I heard it was acually supposed to be a B&M sitdown. But B&M couldn't take on anymore projects at the time. So instead of waiting a few years Busch sent the ready to go B&M plans to Arrow.
Gutterflower
I'm pretty sure that myth is rubbish. But people will believe in conspiracy theories
