Just a quick FYI for anyone who cares...

Wicked's tower was topped off today. The track has not yet been installed on the tower, but the tower is now fully up. Its looking like a June opening date.

Pictures will be posted later tonight on the LagoonisFun Forums.

We decided to take a quick drive (6 hours) from Vegas up to Lagoon, just north of Salt Lake City this past weekend. We had to get a haunt in this year.    Even though the park was busy and mask

People are generally over it and even parks that did a great job with covid protocols last summer are struggling now. The data coming out now is highlighting just how insanely rare outdoor transmissio

^ yes. Yes they did. I wanted to get down there sometime in the winter, but could never quite justify the drive (at least, without being able to ride some coasters as part of the trip).  I've got

Another update for those who... well, care.

Wicked's Track is 100% complete and it looks great. The pull through is expected to be done before the end of the week, and training/test runs should be following suit soon after.

If you haven't seen any of the pics, you can go to

Should be a great ride, and definately a great step in the right direction for Lagoon.

That thing must have some crazy acceleration G Forces if it's going to propel that thing up vertically... Does it stop vertically, with the train facing upward? Or does it just launch it out of the tunnel? [Lame...]

The train will launch out of the tunnel into the vertical hill and over the top.

Lovely choice of colours and a wicked layout will ensure repeat rides

Well that's lame, It's barely even a vertical launch. The upward section probably does barely anything anyway... If it did much or caused any forces it'd go too fast over the top...

I rode it last week. It's by far the most fun coaster in the park. The launch is very unusual since it's all the way up the tower. It's very smooth and the restraints are very comfortable. The tower and the zero g have lots of airtime. It was very crowded when we were there and I wish I could have ridden more than twice.

I went on Wicked this past weekend and I'm going to do a Photo and Video Trip Report soon. I must say that I was very disappointed in Wicked. I found The Spider to be my favorite ride at the park.

Look for the update later this week...In the mean time, here's a sample picture of Wicked
