jray21
It's looking better and better every update! I should be able to be there the day it opens! Can't wait!
Philrad71
I am seriously trying to figure out how we can get to Utah this year. I would love to be able to rent or buy a motor home so we can visit all of the awesome state and national parks (Bryce Canyon, Capital Reef, Monument Valley, Zion, etc) to see all the beautiful scenery as well as visiting this amusement park. This coaster looks amazing!
pbrandoj
New photo of the ride posted by Lagoon on their Facebook page today. I cannot wait for this to be done!
rcjp
^Looking really nice! Fairly compact for a ride of that size.
RCF
^Looking really nice! Fairly compact for a ride of that size. That's Lagoon for you. They have a small footprint with rides and such compacted in. Reason why you also see more flat rides here.
scbt
Wow, it looks like they're finished installing track. Did we ever figure out what that track piece with LSMs was for?
Fooz
It's after the dive loop and the double down type dip, and before the cutback/overbank.
KingRCT3
It's still laking the first heartline roll (and a tiny piece before the final brakes), and then it'll be completed.
larrygator
I need to knock this park off my bucket in 2015.
BugEyed
I've officially added Lagoon to the rough outline of my 2015 summer coaster trip itinerary. This decision does not come without a sacrifice or two, but I feel it's worth it. I just really have to ride this thing.
ThemeParkJunkie51290
I've officially added Lagoon to the rough outline of my 2015 summer coaster trip itinerary. This decision does not come without a sacrifice or two, but I feel it's worth it. I just really have to ride this thing. For me as well! I'm thinking about skipping all my other parks just to go here. My goal was to ride Fury325, Thunderbird, and experience the new resort at Legoland, FL. But this coaster has me thinking really hard about my decisions. LOL.
jray21
That park works well for me by train. I can take it overnight both ways, and renting a car in Salt Lake is super cheap. I'll definitely be there this year!

I'll definitely be there this year! You could even just ride Frontrunner to Farmington Station and take the Free Lagoon Shuttle to the park, unless you really want to rent a car. KingRCT3
Let's take a peek inside the tower: I spy... a double elevator lift à la Divertical/Matterhorn Blitz and other Mack wild mouses. Now I think the word I'm looking for is... headchopper. Look at that : From here... To there! Pictures thanks to LagoonIsFun.

cOAstERdUDe117
I think the best thing about Cannibal is the themeing. The water feature is especially awesome, here are some photos of the front and back of the waterfall.

Paradox
The park keeps saying that the ride will have 3 inversions, but shouldn't there be 4? Has the secret element been released yet?
Guy T. Koepp
^The secret element is love! Lagoon is putting a whole lot of love into this coaster.
Jcoaster
The park sent us this amazing video today: I'm disappointed you haven't come up with a trendy new nickname for this coaster yet Robb. I need a trendy name for it.
cOAstERdUDe117
The park keeps saying that the ride will have 3 inversions, but shouldn't there be 4? Has the secret element been released yet? The secret element is the special helix over the waterfall. It's a inline twist to the left, then it immediately turns to the right. And there's only 3 Inversions. The Immelman loop, diving loop, and special inline twist element.
RCF
The park keeps saying that the ride will have 3 inversions, but shouldn't there be 4? Has the secret element been released yet? The secret element is the special helix over the waterfall. It's a inline twist to the left, then it immediately turns to the right. And there's only 3 Inversions. The Immelman loop, diving loop, and special inline twist element. The switchback double barrel rolls (or whatever it will be called) technically was announced with the ride in the renderings. I believe it most likely would be something else, but we will know soon enough. Also, it should be considered two inversions, so four all together. Because it does invert you two times on it (as relation to the renderings.)
Nrthwnd
It looks so barren on the hills behind all this awesomeness. I do not know Idaho that well, but do the hills get really green at all during spring and/or summer? Just asking, thanks.
