I had a really busy day at work today and since I owed Lou a "dinner date" for some sexual favors I did during one of my past visits, I went around to pick her up this afternoon, but instead of a dinner date I tricked her into heading up to Blackpool for the last hour of operation. I really wanted to see what Grand National was like with the new trains, but unfortunatley, it was closed. We did manage to get on quite a bit in the short time we were there: Pepsi Max, Steeplechase, Revolution, Avalanche, Roller Coaster, Wild Mouse, Flying Machines, Derby Racer, Bling, etc..... Also right by my hotel was a very small fair but it actually had a CREDIT!!!! Yay!!!! Anyway, onto the photos..... It might only be a Wacky Worm, but it counts!!!! That's pretty much it. It was a very short visit to both places, but hey...I GOT A CREDIT!!!! YAY!!!! Yay! We found a REAL credit! "Hey Jeff....there was a credit here for you" (the coaster...NOT Lou!!!!) After Blackpool we decided to head over to the Knutsford fair to see if the had a credit! (driving on the right hand side of the car is COOL!) Two Balls (in your face) for 2 pounds! ...they won the loo of the year award! Congratulations Lou! These toilets had something special about them...... Yay! "Lou Boob Credit #2" on the Wild Mouse! It's impossible to describe how insane the Wild Mouse is. Especially if you cram two people in one car, and one of those people is Robb!!! "Follow the instructions on the hat for a good time...." Yay for more arrow fun, 235 feet in the air! Blackpool was so dead today we did all the open coasters and some flat rides in an hour! Wrong? Yup. Funny? HELL YES!!!! This is not a "Joe Friendly Bumper Cars." "Hi Elissa...hows it going?" Time for Elissa's favorite coaster! Does that look like some happy Arror riding faces? Yay! Revolution was back open! ...and sure enough, that's a seat belt! trains still look the same.... We had heard about the seatbelts on Roller Coaster so we figured we'd go check that out..... But hey! I did manage to get 1 "Lou Boob Credit" while on Avalanche! (her boobs count as two in case you are wondering!) ...needless to say I was bummed. =( ...but they had broken the ride and it was closed the rest of the day.... The main reason for coming was to check out Grand National with the new PTC trains..... We only had a short time at the Pleasure Beach...but it was enough! I know Robb was pretty miserable on this trip so it looks like this more than made up for it! Over at Coasteforce.com in their forum theres some talk going on about this Rocket Coaster thats going to be around the Spin Doctor area and shoot out through the Big Dipper & Big One & over to the sea, about 314ft tall and lanches 0-117mph in less than 4 seconds. Look what happened a few hours after you got your credit at the Knutsford fair! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/4979766.stm Four teenagers were injured, one of them seriously, when part of a waltzer flew off and struck them at a fairground in Cheshire. They were standing near the ride as it was being operated at the fair on Manchester Road, Knutsford. One of the four suffered a serious leg injury in the accident on Friday night, which is now being investigated by the Health and Safety Executive. Cheshire Police said the ride had been closed down. A spokesman said all parties involved in the incident had given their full co-operation to the investigation.
