Siam Park - Waterpark in the Canary Islands

Recommended Posts

Love the music! Kronos Quartet makes everything better...

Seems like sort of ominous music for a waterpark, but I too love Kronos.

I have a feeling we'd be saying "I love Spain" quite often at this place.

OMG, Siam Park is absolutely perfect! They have an amazing theme... I think it's the best water park I've ever seen!

I second that. That water park looks amazing!

On one of the slide it looks like the slides come out of Sukreep's mouth! The only reason I know its Sukreep is because my wife has a tattoo of him of her leg! He is one of the warrior monkeys from the Rayamana story, he is related to Hanuman, who is more popular.

Wow, this place is just absolutely amazing! I would love to visit some day because the theming here is top notch and everything blends so well together.

By the way, what was the name of that song in the video? I keep hearing it but I don't know what it's called.

I saw a great show on Discovery yesterday about the park. It was one of those Mega Builder/Engineering shows. It mostly focused on their surf pool and all the problems they had building it.

I love looking at pictures of this place, I must visit it.

I just finished watching that episode of Mega Builders. It was fascinating. Looks like it was filmed between August 2007 and April 2008? I am pretty sure it's a Canadian show, but since it's on Discovery, it should make its way to the US and UK channels in due course.

Thanks to this thread (and all the great updates, OP), I knew pretty mcuh what they were showing. But it was cool to see the insider view.

taytig, go figure, eh - we Canadians build most of these amazing water parks, but we don't yet have our own showcase park...

If Universal ever built a third Orlando park and it was a water park, it should be like this (it would be a perfect pair with IoA's incredible theming).

This park truly is epic.
