Erik Johnson
I love how SORENsen was the chef at Mythos. See, all it takes is a friend working there to get the good stuff back. Now gimme the lobster and corn bisque and mozz and tomato salad and everything is better! I'm slightly disturbed by the similar shirts Soren. Is that a German thing? I HATE the idea of biometrics and paper passes. Can someone please explain to me how a picture of me isn't good enough to show its me. It works for my passport and drivers license, but apparently not for theme park admission anymore. For $200-300 you think you'd actually have something sturdy with a purdy picture of yourself getting your wallet raped as its happening. Looks like you had fun, glad Soren finally got there! Oh yeah that bisque was really good. About Soren's and Stefan's shirts, I did make the comment that they looked like wallpaper when they sat next to each other. Even though the blue color was slightly different, once Stefan got soaked on the water rides they looked exactly the same.
Erik Johnson
Haha, you were there yesterday as well? I remember seeing those two hats in the net of Hulk... I was in the arcade most of the day playing the new "In The Groove 2" machine. It's about time they finally got one of those! You know, I always walk through the arcade practically on every visit (for single rider Doom), but we did not go in there this trip.
Erik Johnson
Did you get him his Pteranadon Flyers credit?!?!?! Dang I forgot about that credit. So Soren still needs THREE credits at IOA. Well as many time as I have been to the park, I still need that credit.
KrakenKing
Just run (Or speed walk) to the back of the park when it opens, 99% of the time they'll let you on... just say something along the lines of "This is the only coaster in Florida that I've yet to ride, please let me ride?". That's what I said and they let me ride it.

KrakenKing
I guess it all depends on the ride op... Next time, if they say no, just kick them in the face and run inside the line... wait, nevermind, nix that idea
DerekRx
Park opening and park closing are 2 different things. At park closing, they are trying to CLOSE THE PARK. Therefore, you trying to get a credit in a line that could very well be 20-45 minutes will prevent the minimum wage earning ops from leaving on time to go runamuck back at their dorm. If you get there at opening however, they've got plenty of time to kill while waiting for their shifts to end, and with the line being very short, they're more inclined to let you goofballs get your experience. At least you can make them happy at the beginning of the day by making them think how funny you guys look, all excited to ride a 20 second, 2 person suspended gravity powered monorail. Erik Johnson
^^ Is that how they treated you when you got the credit? Ok I shall give that a try. At least DD will be close as well (at least in June they will be).
DerekRx
^No, I rode it way back in 1999 when you didn't need a kid in order to ride, you just had to wait 45 minutes. If my coworker was going to Universal on her trip, I'm sure she'd let you borrow the 4 year old. Heck, maybe she wouldn't even want her back! Sadly, its Disney only this trip for her. KrakenKing
Yeah, this time just try park opening, that way the back of the park has no one in it and the ops have nothing to do. They'll probably let you ride.
Chrissie
Just another question about the annual passes, Im hoping 2 get the one with the black out dates when I get 2 Orlando... Can you still buy annual passes even though the place is closed?! Or will it be open by June? lol

Hattuchili
My first trip to Universal and IOA in 2006 - Part 1 With a great tour guide... Hey guys, I had a hard long day yesterday, thats why I had no time to post some pictures! Anyway, now I have a few minutes befor I need to go to work! You all have seen the pictures from Erik, and yes we really had a good time! It was my first time at IOA and it was great! I really like Hulk and the lunch is amazing! We were there the whole day and mostly we had no waiting time! I really need to thank Erik for his great tour guide job! I had so much fun with him! Oh, and thank you for posting the great pictures, Erik! However, onto the pictures: --Sören Stefan also like it here! It is great what Universal made in that area. The theming is awesome! Hmm, is someone missing a Universal employee??? And again, who is more scarier, the Dino or Erik? Ahh, a real Dino! OMG, the doors are opening! Onto the ride! Where Erik found a new best friend! Then we walked back to IOA. Stefan needed a short break! After that another good credit! Haha It looks like Stefan found the mummy! Aaaahhhh, who is more scary??? The good old Volkswagen! Ooohhh, something scary is waiting for us! Stefan alone in the streets of New York! Then we walked over to the really crowded Studios! But we found a good old friend, the lovely Grinch! Look how crowded it was this day! What do you miss in this picture? Next was Duelling Dragons! To sad it was closed, but with my AP I can come back in the next weeks! Next was my favourite coaster.... ... no, it is not! What a great coaster! Have I d´said, that the lunch is great!? Like Erik said: My first credit was green! We started our day at IOA. We all arrived Universal Studios!

Nick Papa
Weird, I was at IOA just last Saturday for my high-school band trip, and Dueling Dragons were open. And thank god the line never exceeded 30 minutes. We rode each track twice! Soren and Stefan really missed out. Hope you guys eventually a ride. I loved them. They're my top inverts.
