GAcoaster
I think it's really great that Six Flags is bringing back poster maps, and even better, they are now FREE! I collect them, and I would love to have a full set for this season, but with buying a house right now, my travel budget for getting to all the parks is severely limited. So I'm thinking for all the park map collectors out there, we should start an exchange with the Six Flags Poster Maps. The rules would be- All maps should be in "new" condition (no wrinkles, no extra folds, no food stains, etc) Any exchanges are on the honor system...if I send you one, you would be expected to send me one in exchange. No money should be paid for any of the maps (trades only) Would anyone else be ineterested? So far I've collected a few SFGadv maps I'd be willing to trade. ECZenith
I'll see about getting you one from SFNE next week. Good idea.

Homer
You think writing to the park nicely for a poster map request would work? [EDIT - Trying VIA Snail Mail, since SFOG doesn't have an email. Hope it works!]
Sue
GAcoaster, Where do you get the poster maps at SFGAdv? I was there opening weekend and didn't see any. Sue
DerekRx
They hand them out when you pay your parking. Though I'd say some booths don't carry them, as I got shafted when I was out at Marine World a few weeks ago, whereas Wally got one. I hope I get one at SFOG, even though I'm not parking there because my hotel is too close!
GAcoaster
You can also get them at Guest Relations. I pick one up everytime I go through the parking gates...all you have to do is ask if they don't give it to you (like when you have a Season Parking Pass). speedracer
I think your thinking of the park guides Derek, which SFMW has stacks of along with the current show schedule at the info/clock tower booth located inside as soon as you enter the park. They really should hand them out at the parking booth though, alot of people miss grabbing one on the way in. Are we talking about the huge giant poster sized fold out maps that most major parks used to sell? If so, no such thing currently exist at SFMW, and never has. DerekRx
^Nope, not talking about the park guides, have one of those. I'm talking about the giant poster sized maps they give out with parking now. I didn't know about them either until I got into Wally's car down at Pyramid on the way to Triple Rock. Had I known they existed, I would have picked one up at either guest relations or another parking booth.
ParkTrips
Anyone who wants one from SFOG drop me a PM with your address, I have "just a few" (aka boatloads of them) I wouldn't mind trying to pick up one from every SF park as they are really cool IMO
CoasterCrazy
There are a couple of SF maps that I would like to get! The only map that I can offer is SFoG, I also have a ton of them.

ParkTrips
Sent out my first batch today, but some people contacted me and don't seem to understand what the process is - it's a fair trade, you gotta let me know what you can offer! IE the new souvenir wall-sized maps! I was going to include Last Gasp buttons with my SFOG maps but couldn't find my bag full of them
Hercules
This would be really cool if I can get my hands on a good deal of Great Adventure ones. Although, it seems like Great Adventure is already taken care of. Maybe when I head up to SFNE I can get my hands on a bunch or something. I like framing things. If I get my hands on a bunch of these, that is going to be a big expense, and a real loss of wall room.
larrygator
I am going to collect a bunch, put them in a cardboard tube and run through Kings Island like they were architectural drawings.
Red
You can also order older souvenir maps from a company that designs maps for parks called Citigraph. http://www.citigraph.com/
Homer
^Yes, but Red, those maps cost some "mucho dinero"... I would much rather get an 06 map for free than pay a sum of money for a vintage poster map. I would participate in this, but... A. No SF park near me. B. I'm not keen on giving my address to strangers. C. I don't have anything good to give back. Although I am hoping for a response from SFOG though. pvcoasterguy
I'm impressed with Six Flags. This will be a very nice touch when you shell out your $10 (or more) for parking! . But, in all seriousness, this great! Six Flags, I have faith in you.
