LuminousAphid
Millennium Flyers. Also S&S 4D Free Spins. They're the new La-Z-Boys of coasters. Â I guess I should specify I'm talking more about specific trains on certain coasters- not so much the model but the particular train. I am dying to try out Millenium Flyers just because of the single row cars & visibility, I don't know if you're joking about the free spins? KBrylczyk
^ Not joking in the slightest. Batman at SFFT was the most comfortable ride I've ever been on.
LuminousAphid
Oh I just looked it up, I thought you were talking about the ZacSpins but then remembered those are not S&S... sorry 'bout that. Like I said I am a noob. So that is a good ride like it looks? The concept Robb and Elyssa (sp?) and kidtums got to ride looked super fun!
KarlaKoaster
I think Mack's sit-down coaster trains such as those on Helix and Blue Fire are great. No sides and low floor so they're easy to get in and out of, really comfy seats, the lap bars are comfy and feel secure, but you still get a lot of freedom in them, plus the lights on Helix look great. In terms of looks, I always liked the trains on Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure.... I hope they don't change the look of those too much when it gets redone. thrillseeker4552
I really like Twisted Colossus's trains. Lots of little details that really make it pop, and they are also very comfortable and secure. Mack's mega coaster trains are great too, but mainly for the comfort and freedom rather than the looks. yay101
^ Awesome!! All B&M trains are beautiful. Â I love most new trains on new coasters. I also aesthetically really love Arrow Looper trains a lot for some reason a lot (don't judge me). Other than poorly maintained/sketchy coasters I haven't really found any trains I don't think are beautiful.
Superbatboy
I also aesthetically really love Arrow Looper trains a lot for some reason a lot (don't judge me). I love the color scheme on Darien Lake's Viper, I couldnt find a good pic of it though
chickenbowl
^ Not joking in the slightest. Batman at SFFT was the most comfortable ride I've ever been on. Â HAHAHA. They're hard plastic. I was surprised by how uncomfortable they were actually.
LiftThrill
Gerstlauer trains are comfortable (both for RMCs and Pandemoniums), but Judge Roy Scream (and probably any old woodie) has the softest and most comfortable seat I've been in.
hendrixmarshalljames
Maybe someone brought this up, maybe not...The trains on goliath in SFGAm are super comfy and detailed...
LiftThrill
Maybe someone brought this up, maybe not...The trains on goliath in SFGAm are super comfy and detailed... The trains on pretty much any RMC are amazing from what I've heard and experienced.
chargersmichael
I'm a huge fan of Cheetah Hunt's trains. The look and design of them is just awesome!
Awesomefaceninja7
I LOVE The Swarm trains. Especially the two cars facing backwards. Mod/admin, if the images are too big, feel free to re size them. The train The backwards seats
RyanTPM
^I don't think the Swarm rides very well backwards, when i rode it felt like it had a slight rattle when compared to forwards.
Awesomefaceninja7
I've never actually ridden the Swarm but I just think the trains look nice. I mentioned the backwards ones because they're unique.
RollerManic
I hate the Premier new gen trains. Very cramped.
mike541x
Honestly, I still think the Arrow looper trains are my favorite, both versions of them. Â Also Lightning Rod's trains looks pretty neat. Can't wait to see them in person!
coasterkid124
Viper at Darien Lake used to have ugly gray colored trains with faded logos from the 80s on the front. Â Now, they have been refurbished and have been given dark green paint with a neon green snake wrap, and they are some of my favorite trains. ejot
I have a thing for classic trains, both in style and function. NAD Century Flyers, with their heavy padding and single position lap bars, have got to be my favorite to ride. Â NAD produced at least one single-headlight train that was also very beautiful. I have a picture of it somewhere but after like an hour of searching I still cannot find it. Â PTC produced a number of one-off, custom-designed trains in the 30's and 40's that were quite stunning. Both pictures below are from the book Roller Coasters by Scott Rutherford and are credited to the PTC archive. This is The Alps at Willow Grove, near Philadelphia, post-1939. PTC train. This is Comet at Forest Park Highlands, St. Louis, 1950. PTC train.
viking86
Honestly, I still think the Arrow looper trains are my favorite, both versions of them. Â They may not be the greatest when it comes to rider comfort, but I LOVE the look of the classic Arrow trains. I was at Tusenfryd yesterday, and the Arrow train on Loopen was absolutely spotless. Possibly the cleanest coaster train I have ever seen, and with lots of shiny wheels. It pretty much looked brand new! It was beautiful!
Superbatboy
Now THIS looks cool, very different
Anac0nda
Still going with Helix. Not only are they comfortable and lapbar only, the lighting package is incredible! That and they are much better for ride-ops to check restraints because they are so open and level with the station platform.
gerstlaueringvar
Thunderbird's color combination makes it my favorite wing coaster train at least.
