black sabbath
Few people know, and they won't share if they want to keep their jobs.. Rumors say it will be a flyer.

jarmor
I heard its gonna be a 3D coaster. Which is basically a kiddy 4D coaster. They are gonna call it "Y".
robbalvey
Ok, does anybody have any information about Six Flags Magic Mountain getting a new coaster? How did I do. Other than not putting a question mark after your question and then posting 10 minutes later asking someone to respond to your post, you did ok. CoasterCrazy
When SFMM gets the new coaster, I hope the coaster is good enough for me to make a trip to Socal.
CstrzRock
The best I could squeeze out of anyone was possible non-major roller coaster for 2006-07. Â Wait for more information to surface... and a helpful hint... if CP gets a coaster SFMM will too and vice versa... because of the "most coasters in a park" title they compete for. socalMAN123
Rumored is a flyer. Kinda in the area in the back of the park behind Psyclone. They own that whole hillside, so they have plenty of land to expand on. ahecht
[lurk mode off] How did I do. Â Pretty good, but you might want to mention "Magic Mountain" in your title. There are 20 or so Six Flags parks in the US alone. Edited March 26, 2005 by ahecht

Goliathdude
I heard a flyer too.But on the moutain and by Goldrush and Log Jammer.
socalMAN123
That would actually be a better location. You could fly amidst the trees, kinda like Revolution. Tons of foot-choppers and great spped. One sentence: THIS RIDE WOULD KICK BUTT!
black sabbath
I think it is kinda funny how we all say, "the new coaster next year" how do we know they won't surprise us with a non coaster addition, although they only seem to add coasters there. Am I the only one that doesn't want a new coaster next year? I would rather see something different, that adds some variety to the park, probably something indoor to escape the heat/rain, especially since there are no indoor rides there. iZak
All signs point to coaster in 2006. There are two locations that are potential, but only one is getting it, and it's an area that needs a new ride.
Twister II
Well Intimen has used other ride towers as support. So what I have heard is that Superman will be removed and the tower will be used for Intimens new rocket coaster.
vertgforces
^ i have heard that too
iZak
Superman isn't going anywhere...It would cost WAY more than what the park has to remove the ride and then replace it with another one. Â I can't believe that rumor is still floating around...
SharkTums
Some of you might be In Ta Men...but if you're interested in the ride manufacturing it's Intamin! Â Elissa "In Ta Both!" Alvey
Dr Freeze
It's really silly that SFMM get away with the "16 coaster" title. Flashback is only open when the water park is closed. Has Deja Vu been anymore reliable lately?
Twister II
If Superman was going to stay, then it would be open, both sides.
phazan
just because its not running doesnt mean they are gunna get rid of it. its probably just broken down. they probably wouldnt get rid of a big coaster like that.
Twister II
Wild Mouse at Dinosaur Beach was removed, and it was a first. I dont think it would be a problem.
