Legacies Carnivale

Recommended Posts

Some of you may remember when I started to make the park Legacies a few pages back (it should be burried around p4 by now). Storywise, this picks up after Cedar Fair withdrew their ownership of the park....

---

Although this year of recovery for Legacies has proved to be nothing but devistating to the park's reputation, alot has been happening behind the scenes. After withdrawing their ownership of the park, Cedar Fair set off to find a small baron plot of land in the tristate area of Ohio,Kentucky, and Indiana. Setting up camp in Kentucky, Cedar Fair began to create a few major attractions including a portable flume, a whip, and a Boomerang Coaster. Calling it "Legacies Carnivale", this new expansion proved to be Cedar Fair's downfall in this skirmish. Legacies immediately sued Cedar Fair for stealing their name, and won ownership of the land. What came to follow was 2 new coasters: A corkscrew named Nitro (Legacies got permission to use the name from SF), and ofcourse construction began for the chain's signature ride; Project: Wildcat.

Themeing

But seriously, the lack of theming there is for a reason. If you saw the first Legacies park, you'd notice that they took a big chunk of forest land and built everything with that lumber. In this case, the origional plot of land was barron, and thus there wasnt much to work with.

Anyways, I'm thinking of taking out that ugly boomerang that I put in to keep attendance up, now that I got some other big attractions. Problem is I dont know what to put there. Remember that Legacies is a small company, so they dont have the greatest budget....

As Legacies finally made their comeback in 2007, both their origional and newest branch flourished. While Legacies constructed a new wildmouse, Carnivale touched up on a few things. First of all, the ugly boomerang in the corner was removed to fund further advancements. Spokesmen say there will be something there in the near future, but the announcement remains a mystery. Meanwhile in Wildcat's corner, station work has been done, a new bumper car complex has been added, and some trees were planted. They are expected to be in full bloom around wildcat next year....

2008:

With the recent revival of Legacies, and Carnivale's huge sucsess, both park flourished during their 2007 seasons. Eventually they both had enough for a moderately large expansion. For Legacies, they began to cut down trees to expand their version of Project Wildcat. Carnivale had a much graeter success...

*Added spook, a dark ride through Legacies manor. Jump aboard to tour the mansion, then get sucked away into a demonic realm. Can you escape?

*A few flats added, included a spin and puke that interacts with Wildcats pre-lift sequence.

*In Boomerang's old area, a kiddie coaster was constructed. Named Candy Cane Crush, this ride was an immediate success...

Spook and the forest around Wildcat's helix. If you remember my last update, these were planted last year, and are now in full bloom.
