tacoking
If I don't get it launch day, I just may have to kill myself. I think that says it all.
crispy
I will be getting a Wii, but like I did for the 360, I'll wait at least a year Its smarter, there are plenty of units available, and more games to choose from And I could possibly even get one used I will not however be getting a ps3, 2 consoles is my limit
tacoking
Getting a Wii definatly shouldn't be as big of a problem as it was for the 360 or will be for the PS3, as there will be around 1 million units ready for the America's on launch day. Compared to the 400,000 PS3's (and a similar number for the 360).
crispy
^^, I agree, Nintendo is looking good for launch But, I am no kid and can wait for my Nintendo, I can wait about as long as it takes them to release Animal Crossing, LOL
pvcoasterguy
Wow... attractive price. And it seems to be a really cool gaming experience. I think Mario Party will be crazy fun with this new controller-thingy, as will WarioWare. I'm very excited for this--the only time I've been excited for a video game system for a long while now. In fact, I haven't even touched my Playstation 2 for more than six months.
tacoking
And if they decide to make the new Mario Party (a new one is ineviatble) WiFi ready...haha, that'd be a blast.
MiamiBoii4392
Wow, I went to EB Games this morning at about eleven, and i walked in to reserve Wii, they said I'm so lucky, I was the last one to reserve a Wii. No one can reserve it anymore until after they are released, the guy there said that in the morning at about 10 (when they opened), there was a line of about 30 or 40 people waiting to reserve a Wii. Hah, And they say Friday the 13th is unlucky. Edit: And i had quater exams today at school, I go to a catholic school, and we were all dismissed at 10:30, however, public schools had a normal day. No one from there is going to be able to reserve a Wii anymore, Sucks for them.
tacoking
Yep, seems like most EB games ran into that this morning. I am just going to campout at Target to get mine. I waited 12 hours for the 360. I'd be willing to wait a day for the Wii.
Golfie
Now children, Tacoking is what we in society like to call "hard core". Stay away from him on the release day of any console, this is to avoid any routiness and/or mild to severe confusion caused by his slurred speech and.. eh... pocket... protector? All in good fun, taco.

tacoking
That's not America, that is the world wide number they will ship before the end of the year - but all of that should be ready by launch. Nintendo hasn't officially announced how much each territory is getting, but we do know North America is getting the most - and that number is in the 1 million unit area. Now children, Tacoking is what we in society like to call "hard core". Whoa...you went too far with the pocket protector.
BDG
So...will you put that sensor bar on top or underneath your television ?
Satoshi
umm..... guess it would get placed on TV's top! can't wait to see Wii gets out to this world on dec 3 since kinda good stuff for even beginners!
MiamiBoii4392
So, has anyone reserved a Wii yet?
Blazen_AZN
So...will you put that sensor bar on top or underneath your television ? It seems to me that it wouldn't matter, i think you'd probably have to calibrate it like you would somthing that has a touch screen. so it could go anywhere, but im not sure, all i know is, i've only seen it placed at the bottom. Florida420
Did anyone catch South Park last night? Cartman wanted to freeze himself and be thawed out on the 19th, because he couldn't stand to wait any longer for the Wii to come out. If you saw it no further explanation is required, but more went on than that, it is a 2 part-er, to be continued. So we'll have to wait to see if Matt and Trey are for the Wii, or ripping on it. Either way, it was pretty funny. If you didn't see it try to catch one of the re-plays.
goleafsgo
Yeah, i saw that one on youtube... didnt really find it that funny compared ot the last few episodes though...
Florida420
Oh, don't misunderstand me, it didn't come close to the last few episodes. I just thought the Wii story line was funny. And the retarted fish-frog It could have been the PS3, but it was the Wii, as of now South Park approved....maybe.
tacoking
So...will you put that sensor bar on top or underneath your television ? From what I understand, it's best underneath your TV. If you can't put it below, above the TV should be the next best place. However, it literally can be placed anywhere as long as it's still connect obviously. I believe the cord is only three feet long, although there is a third party (Pelican I think) that is making cord extension for the bar. So you can place it on the opposite end of the room, but remember you have to be facing the direction of the bar so it would be pointless.

Florida420
I got a little bad news today, my store (Wii-Mart) is only getting 29 Wiis for launch. It sounds like enough a few weeks ago, but now it's getting close and people are asking about it. I'm not gonna wait in a line for a day, I just plan on getting there around midnight on Sat. so I might not get one. I think I will call, or maybe I'll "misplace" a case of them just to be sure, although I hear that is frowned upon. Oh well I know if I don't get one, I can still get it as soon as the next shipment drops, I'll be right there to snag one up. I still don't know how many PS3s we are gonna get, Sony hasn't let us know yet, but I'm sure it's not many, my guess is 2 cases of $600. and 1 case of $500. Maybe I can "misplace" a case of those too, I need my Christmas $$, via Ebay! Although it's highly unlikely.
tacoking
I am doing a campout at my local Target, where it seems they will have 60 units ready. Hope that is true.
