Best American B&M Inverted coaster

I don't know why but I didn't have the best experience riding Montu. It definitely wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite.

Back when Dueling Dragons actually dueled, I think both coasters would of got my vote for best inverted coaster. They still are great rides but I decided to go with Montu only because of my most recent few rides on it were fantastic.

I haven't done top fun's, silver bullet or patriot - but I'd say batman for the delicious intensity throughout!

-This is a historical list, Alpie isn't quite what she used to be, but who is? Back in the late 90's/2000, the 2nd half rocked like the first.

-Actually had some sub-par rides on Montu this past May, but again, the overall years of rides on her rate very high.

-Luved Afterburn, Talon, etc.

-If I rated Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge as a "one" ride experience, i'd have to move it to #1, again, at least when they indeed still dueled. But separately, thay aren't in the same class as the top group...and I don't think they really were meant to be viewed that way, even if they are two credits...imo.

I have to be 100% honest, I wasn't really impressed with Alpengeist. It was one of my most anticipated coasters from our recent trip and it just was blah. We rode it a couple of times during the day, a couple of times during ERT but I just didn't love it.

I would have to say the best one would be Raptor. I thought the ride had great mix of positive and negitive gs that make this ride one of my favorite at Cedar Point!

My top 5 has consistently been this, with Raptor and Alpengeist switching places depending on Raptor's roughness.

Why only American? Especially since Nemesis, Katun and Pyrenees regularly rank higher than any of the US inverteds on Mitch's steel poll. (Although I'd still put Montu above any of them.)

Least favorite, no. That would probably go to Talon or Silver Bullet. I also haven't ridden Montu so you have to factor that in as well.

Alpengeist is still king in my book but Raptor is a close second.

Alpengeist is good but Raptor I found to be subpar. Batman clones are my #1 with Afterburn/Talon tied for a close 2nd.

Im a bit suprissed that Apliengiest ranks so high as I felt it to be super fast but super forceless. I think Batman Raptor and Mountu top are great.

-Flight Deck CGA

-Batman SFMM

-Montu BGT

-Fire & Ice IOA

Out of all of them I like Fire & Montu the best.

I will choose Raptor as, despite being a tiny bit less forceful than Batman, it makes up in length (and it's always a bit more unique). This is how every B&M should be!
