viking86
I think Wiener Prater has an awesome skyline
DerekRx
I'm gonna have to go with Cedar Point. There's not much cooler about your first trip there, driving across the causeway and seeing Millennium Force to your left, followed by Mantis, Blue Streak, Top Thrill Dragster, Power Tower, and Wicked Twister. Its beautiful, and downright wrong when you realize how tall everything is, yet how small anything looks when associated with everything else as a whole. alpengeist04
My favorite is Universal's Islands of Adventure.
Reon
+1 vote for Cedar Point. I dont care how cliche a horizon of coasters is...Every time I go there, seing an amusment park taking up that entire peninsula...just gets me every time. So..beutiful... Universal is nice too (IoA, not the main park)
Homer
Geauga Lake from across the lake has a kickass view. Taken by legeorgeiii of Webshots.
sfmmFREAK
i like sfmm's a lot, plus its in front of a bunch of fields, so there is nothing blocking it... (besides the trees by the road)
USRoadTripper
I'd have to say Geauga Lake is my favorite, followed by Cedar Point. -Julie Cedar Point Geauga Lake
ECZenith
Six Flags Great Adventure from the main lot. All the big coasters peeking out from behind all those trees is a beautiful sight.
Nrthwnd
SFMM will have an even better skyline once that 'other coaster' is installed....um....what was it's name again?
coasterdude5
My favorite is Six Flags Great America. So much variety! Flyer, Vekoma Boomerang, Intamin, Arrow, B&M. It's a nice view.
SpeedMonster
CP without a doubt! How can you beat Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Magnum, Power Tower, Mean Streak (at least, from a distance ), etc. Maybe SFMM next, but it's no comparison. Pelydr
CP is beautiful. Derek is spot on about driving over the causeway, its just fantastic! Although, I really havent been to that many parks. Still, CP is the winner for me.
pkdcoaster
Cedar Point..No contest for me Driving on the causeway my first time....HOLY DUNG!!! (I was 14) JEFF
Token Yankee Guy
SFNE has a great skyline from Colossus which gives a great view of the area. DC Area w/ Superman Entire park Waterpark
paulosthejackal
Alton Towers in the UK is pretty exciting because you can barely see anything on the drive to the park so every little glimpse is so exciting! Even when you are in the park you 'come across' the rides. But CP must just be the greatest - must be such a ruch as you drive along the freeway - can't wait till I graduate uni and can afford to go on holiday again! FlyingScooter
Cedar Point for me is the hands down winner. Geauga Lake is a good first runner up.
Nosferatu
Both Alton Towers and Thorpe park har realy "bad" skylines. You pretty much don'tsee anything until you are at the front gate or stand in the park. Tusenfryd has a pretty good skyline, with Speed Monster and Thundercoaster dominating the front of the park. coasterboy76
I'm going to have to go with Cedar Point for the skyline..
Shockwave
Approaching from the North, Blackpool Pleaure Beach's skyline is really intimidating, and I was in awe at the Big One the first time I saw it.
N'at Man
I think Cedar Point has everyone beat. I'll add another contender. Grona Lund in Stockholm. It's a smaller skyline but it leaves quite an impression when you approach it by boat with the city buildings in the background. Hicko
Another vote for Blackpool. But seeing the pictures Ceder Point seems to have the best but sadly I havn't been there.
Scaparri
I would have to say that CP's probably has the best, though I'm a really big fan of SFOT's and SFGAm's (don't have a picture of GAm) Kind of a crappy picture, but you get the idea. Luxo
I like Disneyland/DCA's the best. You can (barely) see the spires of the castle, ToT looming in the distance, Space Mountain peeking out, the Matterhorn, and Grizzly Peak. It's a pretty unique sight.
