FlyingScooter
I'm partial to 1st person shooters. I'd say Medal of Honor for ps1. Even with ps1 graphics, i still find it more fun to play than Frontline for the ps2. For the 'puter: BattleField 1942. For the old arcades: Missile Command/pole position/Donkey Kong. robbalvey
When I think of the my all-time favorite games, I go back to all my favorite "Classic" arcade games. When I lived in Baltimore, I had a basement full of classic arcade games, these are the ones I had, so I guess I'd say these were my favorites:  Donkey Kong Pac Man Ms. Pac-Man Tron Discs of Tron Star Wars Dragon's Lair Robotron Space Duel Asteroids Tempest Kick Man Mappy Q*Bert Reactor Wacko Blaster Venture Burgertime Berzerk Crazy Climber Space Invaders Deluxe Centipede Star Castle Food Fight Super Street Fighter II Turbo Mouse Trap Gorf Carnival Galaxian Sinistar Rally-X Rip Off Domino Man Mad Planets Pac-Land Satan's Hollow Stunt Cycle Tac/Scan Astro Blaster Baby Pac-Man Omega Race Xenophobe Wizard Of Wor Vanguard Phoenix  Now the question is, how many of these games do you recognize?  --Robb "Who loved obscure 1980's arcade games!" FlyingScooter
Robb: That list sounds like an Arcade i used to go to everyday in 1982-1983... GORF! I got a kick out of that game. Yes, i remember most, if not, all of those titles. Was Zaxxon on your list? Looking back, it's hard to believe just how far we've come in graphics for games. The first time I saw Dragons Lair, we were like: "oooowwww's and ahhhhhh's." then we played it, and were like : "ARRRRRG!!!".. lol Thanks, Robb, i'd forgotten most of those titles... Alvey  Born in the same year I also know a lot of them... My favorite being TRON... And still would love to get one of those and put it in my house....  I am looking for a games name. It is a (space)ship that moves in a circle around the screen with naughty (space)ships coming from the centre into the 360° circle moving outwards... It had a great soundtrack (for that time)... If I only remember the name... so if you know, or can help me (it might be even on that list....)
Erik Johnson
Sounds like Gyruss by Konami. It came out in 1983. Its sorta like Galaga but with the enemy spaceships coming from the center. Bach's Toccata and Fugue is the music played throughout the game (but at a faster tempo.)
