rollermonkey
Rail service in Spain is better than Italy, but not as good as France. Most, if not all of Spain's parks are within easy walking distance of a train station. I enjoyed both Movie World in Madrid and Port Aventura in Tarragona. I hope that you can have a good time, even if you "are not too fond of Spain."

fryvlc
Hi! Im Spanish from Valencia, if you have any doubt of the parks i will try to help you. There's 4 big theme Parks in Spain, i have been only in 3 of them (lots of times) and i recommend you too visit! - Warner Bros. Park- Madrid http://www.warnerbrospark.com/ Nice themed and a very good 4 coasters. - Port Aventura - Tarragona (Salou), Cataluña http://www.portaventura.com/ This is a Universal park, for me is the park with more quallity and care for visitors in Spain, you will notice it in every detail. My favorite Rides: Dragon Khan (B&M - 8 looping), Stampida (Race Woodie with two parallel tracks), Huracan Condor (100 meters free fall), and Templo del fuego (fire show). - Terra Mítica - Alicante (benidorm) http://www.terramiticapark.com Very nice themed park with two coasters, 1 woody and 1 SLC, very nice views from the park over benidorm and the sea. - Isla Magica - Sevilla I have been never here. Hope you have fun in Spain
the sound
I went to SPain last September, and it was an awesome place. We only Went to 2 theme parks, as this was just a normal sight see-ing vacation. Still, Port Aventura is a MUST. I Found the the um website (www.umwebsite.com) was extremely useful, because the main site doesn't have many Photographs. Parque De Atracciones is a great park as well, it should not be missed (You can see it from this Palace in madrid!)
