Simply amazing! Awesome work! I just have one small critique, or suggestion. It should include scenes of the stampede of wildebeasts (I don't think I spelled that right) with Mufasa's death, and you HAVE to throw in a Hakuna Matata scene with Timone and Pumba! Two very important scenes in the plot, and one would be very dramatic, and the other fun and comical. We all want to see our favorite characters in there. Top notch work though. You SHOULD be an imagineer! This would be amazing.

I really liked the sound track file as well. I could picture it all happening to the music as it played out. Very nice.

Wow, that is absolutely amazing. Your attention to detail is incredible. You even show the structure of the warehouse and the lighting rigs. I once sketched out an original ride concept with the same ride system (sans drop shaft) themed to a French Fortress, but it was no where near as detailed as this concept. Keep up the great work. I don't know if it's been said before, but this would work perfectly in DAK's Africa section (not too sure if and where it would fit in DL).

He should talk to Mike Collins from CoasterRadio.com. Mike has contact info for Joe Rohde, the head imagineer behind Animal Kingdom, and most recently Expedition Everest. EE is a good fix for AK for a few years, but this attraction for 2010 or 2011 wouldn't be a bad idea to renew the park and give it a second mountain.

If Mike (or Clint) could put him in contact with Joe Rohde or get Rohde to look at the idea, it might just be good enough to get some attention. I honestly think this attraction looks even better than EE and could potentially be the best attraction Disney has built since Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, or Test Track.

I was talking to a patent lawyer friend of Alana's today. He said that if something were to ever happen regarding any sort of idea infringement. You could actualy use this thred in a court of law as it records some sort of time date stamp.

The only problem with that is that it can also be manipulated, deleted, updated, etc. So it would be best to have written documentation. You do however have 40+ witnesses that posted on this thred. That should garner some security.

I'll testify for ya if the price is right.

definately! a stampede would be awesome! and a Hakuna Matata would be cute.... maybe through a bright and colourful forest at the beginning with lots of bugs etc etc... you'd probably come up with something kool

The work is easy and we pay in high quality coaster porn!

Fixed it for you.

I don't think I have commented on this, but I shall step aside from the accountant in me that is saying "OMG how much will that cost? " for a minute, and say that there is obviously a crapload of talent being displayed here. I can't imagine you NOT enjoying such work, what with the effort and detail put forth, so I'm sure this COULD be an excellent career choice. If you go that path, good luck dude!

Would you be interested in doing some artwork for TPR? We could use a new shirt design or 10th anniversary logo!

The work is easy and we pay in high quality coaster DVDs!

Sounds good to me!

I love this site and it'd be pretty cool to help in some way with it.

Drop me a message some time and I'll see what I can do

The next thing I want to do is going to involve a Vekoma Thrill Lift. (Someone on coasterforce mentioned Disney buying one and theming it), I'll probably send that as fan art to Vekoma or something.

First time I looked at this thread and ... Good God! As an artist myself, I can really appreciate the work you put into developing this concept.

For your age, you are well ahead of the curve when it comes to this sort of thing. If you get your work into the right hands, your future will be a bright one.

Your art is truly amazing. You made a ride with meaning and a story. The innovations you thought of are great. I'm sure the new CEO of Six Flags would hire you... it seems that he is going to do some dark rides. Great idea, great delivery. Overall, awe-inspiring.

We all have talents, except your's is awesome. My talents are writing and teaching. I'm in the process of writing two textbooks (fairly basic ones)- one involving basic Spanish and the other involving design. (I'll be sure to post them here when they're done! I write for free.)

Best of luck to you!

I spent more time on this than i should have... since i have some evil f-words (functions and fractions) to graph.

This is really remarkable, I want to ride it right now. If this was put into reality, I'd see a whole lot of money spent by the producer and the consumer. This is breathtaking -- I am too impatient of a person to take the time and draw something so detailed and articulated as that. I can see employers pulling at your crafted arms and peeling away at your talent...

Marvelous, Fanstastic, and really

phantasmagoric.

having read all of that, I can't help but feel anxious and excited to see what type or rides the future will bring...especially with people like you working on it all. It was a dream of mine for a very long time to do concept art and ride design, and a few ideas that I came up with many years ago have expanded into larger projects. it definitely takes time and patience to think everything through, and detail is a key factor.

All in all you've nailed it on the head, but as other people have mentioned already, your idea is now public!! Who is to say that someone from Disney wont read this message board and take your idea to elaborate upon. It's a dangerous business, and you've got to watch who you can trust.

With saying that, I think that all of us on here are amazed by your work and are eager to see what others you can bring forward. Definitely take it to some smaller ride/design companies and see if you can get your foot in the door; then work your way up to the big boys.

I expect this ride to be open at Disneys Animal Kingdom, and amusing guests by April 2010! Hop to it!!

Hey Cerberus! Any chance you can re-post the pictures? The "bandwidth has been exceeded" now for several days but I'd love to see your ride!

-Derek

Eh, I can't do anything about that. The website claimed to offer (what seemed like) a lot of space and bandwidth, but I guess forum use was a little too much for it

Although I can't make them appear in topic in the right order and stuff, I've just put them up in my DA Gallery for viewing individually.

^ How about a suggestion?

Maybe a Finding Nemo attraction, and yoiu can make it whatever you think will work, whether on dry land, in the water, above it all, in the 'fake wet' of a show building --- or a combo of "all of the above," heh heh.

Up to you.
