zburns999 Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Well, I was really pleased with how Parc de Chateau turned out, so I have decided that it is once again time for me to start up a new project. Inspired by Supreme Screamer's "Premier Super Park," I have decided to try my hand at a realistic, chain-owned park. Paramount's Xtreme will be the largest of its chain, featuring a lot of coasters, thrills, and rides for everyone. Included in the map will be a waterpark, and a resort with a golf course. I expect this project to take a LONG time. I will have updates, but probably only one every week or two. I have already spent quite a while in scenario editor picking items, because I don't want to leave anything out. I have started work on the long road from the parking gates to the park, which will be lined with restaurants and other attractions. So far, I have completed the parking gate, and everyone's favorite post-park visit restaurant, Carrabba's! Here are some pics... zburns999 Posted January 29, 2006 Author Share Posted January 29, 2006 Ok, I said I wouldn't post too many updates, but I can't help myself. Everytime I build something, I always want to post it. Anyway, here are some pics... Here is the small, yet classy Monique Xpress, (a Hotel Breakers-Breakers Xpress ripoff). The Monique Resort will be on the other side of the map. There is an entrance to the park from behind the Hotel. Here is the RV campground, complete with a pool that you can see in the screen above. Thats all for now (and hopefully for a while). I like all of the details you have put in, and I see how detailistic you have become with the archy. Its clear you have inspiration from Premier Amusement Park. Anyways, two things to critique; 1. Mispelling of "Carrabba's" on the sign. 2. The "Xpress" hotel seems, a bit small, I would give it a larger footprint. Other than that, awesome park! I would make it bigger, but I just don't want to ruin it. But, at least I know not to make that mistake again. Thanks for pointing it out! Also, thanks to everyone else for posting. So, this one is looking great, Mr. Burns (I have called you that for a LONG time now lol)(hey, that's a Simpsons character). Even without the rides coming yet, the beginning is looking amazing! Its tedious work, but I hope that it will pay off in the long run. I hope to have the road leading to the park, the resort, and the golf course completed within the next 2-3 weeks. I worked on the Hotel for over three hours, and it is NOT fun, but it must be done . Here is a screen shot of my progress... This will take a LONG time!
