Mrlittle
4th Generation is clearly a hint towards a 4D coaster. I could see it being a 4th wooden coaster .
Dr. M
It's got to be something new. A recreation, maybe, but definitely not a used ride. "The fourth generation is doing WHAT!?!?" Oooooh, a used mine ride from Freestyle Music Park! Those crazy loons!

Josh Linn
The only other time they've announced a future ride this far in advance that I can remember was Flying Turns. I'd expect a pretty significant addition.

Jew
Whatever it turns out to be, what's the over/under on it opening in time? Â Hope it's not another project they are in over their heads on...
coasterbill
Whatever it turns out to be, what's the over/under on it opening in time? Â Is there ever a specific opening time with Knoebels? They usually just open rides whenever they're ready. They're cool like that.

Hope it's not another project they are in over their heads on...  If they weren't busting their backsides trying to make something crazy work, they'd just be a generic amusement park and not what they are. Save the mediocre production model something-or-others for Cedar Fair. Hopefully whatever it is ends up being patently absurd.
SigilX
I know this is going to be something big.  Typically Knoebels doesn't hype up as much rides like Fandango, Wipeout, and the Mini Himalaya (some of their most recent rides).  Besides the Flying Turns, and the Black Diamond the one they recently hyped up was the Stratosfear.  So I'm thinking its going to be another roller coaster, and judging by the Facebook post it said that the 4th generation was trying to find what to do next until they found "it." So it doesn't sound like a new ride or restoring something currently at a park, but that they will be bringing a ride there from another park or creating a ride from the past like Flying Turns was.  Let the speculation begin.  Edit: Thought about a few coasters that in storage/ SBNO that Knoebels might like:  Little Eagle - from Myrtle Beach Pavilion - http://rcdb.com/309.htm Mad Mouse - Myrtle Beach Pavilion - http://rcdb.com/503.htm Big Dipper- Geauga Lake - http://rcdb.com/236.htm Iron Horse, Round About - Freestyle Park  These are just ones found in the US based on recently defunct parks. COASTER FREAK 11
One of these three would be fantastic - a terrain wooden coaster along the Skyride hill, a reproduction Virginia Reel, or Knightmare from Camelot. Â Well your last suggestion was out of left field! LOL, though I think that coaster would be a great addition to the park. But I seriously doubt that ride will ever move again =(
CPSFMMCW
Honestly, skeptical A.J. is skeptical, but if they're getting ready to announce it this early in the year, it may be a pretty big attraction. Let the speculation begin...I mean continue! Given how Knoebels is compared to KD, I think they might have something special in-store. When did KD talk about revealing their 2015 plans? I mean, I expected it since the whole thing with the 40th anniversary is "Beginning 2014..." so that obviously hints that something is coming in 2015, but where did you hear them mention 2015? Â And as for Knoebels, as long as its a nice big steel coaster, I'm happy.
Robocoaster
Don't remember the name, but I'll bet most of us have seen the old black and white clip at some point: Â Undulating wooden coaster! Â Â Edit: Went to try and find the footage, but couldn't bring it up on any search. Circular roller coaster built on an undulating round disk. Hey if anyone could do it, it'd be Knoebels. simon8899
^Interesting to see that Teststrecke is on sale. But sadly even on good weather days the coaster never ran more than one train and mostly with only half the seats filled. Some of my colleagues and friends calls it "boring". DanM64
B&M wing coaster!!!! Â I'm totally kidding. I really hope for a Virginia Reel or a Steeplechase. Either one would be a perfect fit for the park.
palmerleeberry
Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy . . . Â Just when I thought we were all through with all this speculation with Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island, and Kings Dominion, now Knoebels have to make an announcement for 2015, thus letting all the new speculations commence. Will we see an old ride rebuilt and brought back to life? Will they move a defunct coaster from a defunct park into their park. Is it a coaster at all? And the most important question of them all . . . When will I return to the park? Okay, only I can answer that last question, but as for the others, I think we need to wait and see, wait and see . . . Â "Why should you speculate? Why don't you just sleep on it? You'll thank me later."
