AznShortBoi8021
Awww, I was hoping for Humdinger, too! Oh well. Stealth works, too. I wonder if anyone think its named after the movie of the same name.
Shockwave
Didn't see that one coming!
nemesis-storm
Thank heavens it's not Humdinger.. How long did it take the park to decide on that name - blinking ages I like the name, but I think it won't go with theming (what there is of it) & the surrounding 'Amity Cove' area
Ed
This ride is wasting valuable space at Thorpe Park. The layout is just simply crap, the name is simply crap and has nothing to do with the Amity Cove theme. Tussauds have managed to pull another Rita... I didn't think it was possible. WillMontu
How is this meant to fit in with the racing theme? Humdinger sounds much cooler.
jarmor
awwww....whats the matter your home park didnt get what you wanted them to or it wasnt an "er" ride (ie: biggER, fastER, tallER, longER) Jarvis "atleast they got a cool coaster " Morant! ECZenith
Stealth... Racing themed coaster... Amity Cove themed area... In an area where Playstation The Ride, Bling and Rita have been common names, that seems about right. Cool logo though!
PhishyBrewer
I love the animated logo on the website. Starts off with happy kid, the fast moving kid and then puking kid. Why can't the US be more like Europe?
dc006f5086
I think STEALTH is the name of the car and that the car will be red and silver. I mean stealth is a good name for a race car.
Meteornotes
Dammit, I really wanted Humdinger. I would have bought a shirt! Ah well... dt

I Totally agree with you there, except for the name. It's better than some coaster names IMHO Paul ' At least it was'nt called humdinger!' CoasterCrazy
I was hoping that it would be called Humdinger; I don't like the name stealth that much. Even though its not called Humdinger I'm still looking forward to riding it in June.
ncf
I think this looks like it'll be one on the best coasters in Europe, possibly in the top 10-15 Who cares if it's been done before, the other ones are on the other side of the world!
BarryH
After a long voting process, Project Stealth is called Stealth. Then why have a vote for the name? I was hoping for John Jacob Jinklehimerschimdt, but people will probably just call it "the red thing," as in "Let's ride the Red Thing!"
Inferno Insane
Glad they finaly release the name after all this wait, Name sounds allright but not great. Still why remove a allright powered coaster for this I will never know Now waits for testing videos for a fairly poor ride. Toby 'Looking more forward to ride Xcelerator/Speed Monster! Than Stealth' Rush
CoasterEricHP
I like Stealth better than Humdinger.... I mean look at how sexy that logo is!? I think it's a great addition. Xcelerator is great, the overbanks just add a few seconds more of ride time. Hopefully there won't be the usual Intamin downtime. Eric
Scaparri
I can't believe how people are complaining about this ride. Sure its a one trick pony with hardly anything to it, but it's something that you didn't have before. Ten second ride or not, its still going to be a pretty thrilling ride and that top hat is something that no other place in Europe has. I understand the disappointment in not having more, but jeeze, you had a powered coaster before. I can understand the name argument a bit though. Shockwave
It's more of a disappointment for those folks who are able to jetset around the world and visit the other Intamin Accelerators. The people who are responsible for whether the ride is a hit are the regular joes who visit the park.

Millenniumguy
/\ Newbies this is called Spam! It is not good. I got banned from 13 sites because of it. Rant Over. People, the UK really needs a good speed coaster. Stealth looks like a good layout and 128Km(80 MPH) would in fact make it Europe's fastest rollercoaster for those record people. . But more important looks fun. (BTW,a worse Stealth is the movie).
DerekRx
They probably named it Stealth because at the beginning of the name selection, they included Humdinger as a joke. Of course, we all voted for it, and more than likely Humdinger was the name with the most votes. So instead, they go with Stealth, which I don't even think was an option in the voting!? I'm still baffled by what exactly is Stealthy about a 205 foot tall phallic symbol.....
Astat
Meh...kinda disappointed that the name ended up being what it was rumored as for months...hell, the Thorpe site even referred to it as "Project Stealth" during construction many times! I voted for Humdinger too.
