turbolaaf
Hi there, I'm looking forward to our trip in april when we will hit Florida fot the first time. I did california and vegas in 2003 so this will be my second trip to the USA. Lik e others i'm hoping not to have to much crowds (springbreak). Is there anyone who can confirm me how the crowds will be in the major parks during 7 april till 23 april ? The parks that we will visite are: Disney MGM Disney Animal Kingdom Disney Epcot Disney Magic Kingdom Disney Blizzard Beach Disney Typhoon lagoon Universal Studios Universal IOA Seaworld Busch Gardens Tampa Our Villa is in Kissismee from where we also will be able to visite the skytower and G force in Oldtown. For what day's can you recomend me to go to each park with the less crowds as possible ? Do you have any things that I should know ? My planning so far would be difficult so if there is any help p.s sorry about my lousy american....
Erik Johnson
That time of year is also "Spring Break" time for most of the United States. The parks are going to be crowded that month, but since it seems like you are going to be here a while, you should have plenty of time to see everything. Just make sure you get to each of the parks before they open and hit the really major attractions first thing.
turbolaaf
Well i did found a site a month ago witch told me that the major schools have springbreak in march and the first week of april. i can't find it back anymore but thats what i can remember. So hopefully it will not be that bussy in that day's..... Does it make any diffrent if we go to a park on a mid day or in the weekends ? Thanks so far. ScOtT k
Florida parks are almost always busy. It will be busy, I don't care what a website says. Get to every park a half hour before opening, and use the free fastpass.

They still do give a good indication of when the schools have springbreak so the big crowds should be less I hope. Are there any day's like asked before that may result in a less crowd day? Erik Johnson
edit: foud it again http://www.tripsmarter.com/panamacity/springbreak/sbcalendar.htm I couldn't edit my post so thats why a new post. That site only lists the spring breaks for colleges. They do not include any of the elementary, middle, and high school spring breaks. But again just get to the parks before opening each day and you should do fine.

Our longest wait, strangely enough, was for the "kiddie" rocket ride at the MK.
maliboomer
Don't trust the site until you know what their vision of busy is. I think it would be about a 5/10 on the crowd scale, which is moderately crowded. Expect waits on the major rides of 40 mins and 15-20 on smaller attractions. If you haven't been before it's hard to anticipate. Getting out of Wishes or Illuminations will give you a mild shock the first time. Also, I think you're doing a bit too much for the time you have. Although it's seems like a huge amount, I'd cut out one of the water parks and Old Town, which is just lousy. It can be what turns a visit into a vacation. So where is your villa? There are a lot of nice locations around the 192 and Poinciana Blvd. Edit: Buy the Big Chunky 'Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World'. It's fantastic for first timers, and has a suprisingly large amount on Universal.

Now thats a reaction thx For the parks we are doing: alvey hits 2 parks a day in europe so to much....i don´t think zo. This is a themepark related holiday and thats what we have planned. The villa is on waterviewloop in Haines city. Old town is something we will do in the evening so thats no problem. That it will be crowded is something i expect right now..... The waterparks are also a time for us to relax and not slide the whole day around What i really would like to know is what day's are the best for some of the parks with less crowds. I can believe that BGT is crowded on a saturday but what about on a weekly day like tursday ? Thx so far Anton" hoping on youre reaction" van den Akker
maliboomer
The 'best' days for WDW are. MK on a Thurs or Sat MGM on a Fri or Sat Epcot on a Wed or Fri AK on a Wed or Sun But that doesn't mean the crowds will be way greater or way smaller on these days and the other days. It honestly doesn't vary much. I'd just go to what you want on the days you want. I stress again that you are doing too much, the time zone depending on the people on your group may hit you hard. While you might remain pumped the people with you might want to crash out, not to mention visit theme parks on multiple days.
turbolaaf
Thx again maliboomer for your reaction and input. Do not worry about the stress in our trip because we have 15 day's to do 10 parks and we have 2 day's to travel to and from the US. Between the 15 day's we also have planned some rest days to relax. My little group (4 persons) are all themepark diehards so thats not the problem. To adjust to your timezone would take one day but thats the day we will take a simple park. I've been in America before and its not that hard to adjust so.... When my complete planning is done then i will put it up here so you can see it.
