Wow, when did the grading scale change?!?!

When I went to school it was:

94 - 100 = A

85 - 93 = B

78 - 84 = C

65 - 77 = D

64 & Below = F

That's how it is here. According to that I have...

Music-B

Latin-B

Global-F

Algebra-F

English-D

Biology-D

Phys. Ed.-D

Wonderful, I know.

Wow, I feel for all you guys that are on normal schedules. We operate on the block schedule, so we only have 4 exams, but the classes are 100 min. long.

I got:

AP Bio-99 (w00t! My first time actually studying for this class paid off)

AP Calc-96 (eh, this was way too easy when compared with some of our recent tests)

AP Euro-90 (I didn't really study at all, so I guess I deserved it)

Mechanical Drafting- Exempted with a 100.

that's how it was at my middle school, but when I hit high school, *bam* bombarded by stupid people who amazingly (and somewhat unfortunately) still get A's. Our grading scale is like this:

89.7-100=A

79-89.6=B

69-78=C

65-69=D

<65=F

except in chemistry, where everyone is stupid so they lowered the F to a 58 (I don't know why everyone hates chem so much).

Last year I shot for high A's but was bummed when my A+ didn't show up on my transcript. This year I said screw it and I'm just barely eeking out an A in math by the skin of my teeth (I do poorly on all the tests). Still have straight A's though through exams next week.

I get bothered with pluses.. means I could do better.. BTW, i love block scheduling.

my last progress report..

AP US History: B+ (Yes. Is it that interesting? Especially with DBQs and History Analysis. FUNNNN ::lmao:: )

Amer. Lit Honors: B+ (I dont like to read some books)

Sym. Orchestra: A (my teacher gives playing tests. He sticks you in a room, makes you play a passage all while getting recorded by a videotape. Wonderful.)

Biology: A (we get into good discussions.)

Spanish 5-6: A (i have a spanish oral presentation to do.. i havent started it.)

Inter Alg/Trig: A (barely an A. I've been lazy with hw.)

Volleyball: A (all i have to do is attend class..)

two weeks from now, semester finals. two weeks to raise grades, hooray (minimum days! ::love::! 12:35 and schools out!)

When I was in school, and it's been quite a while, grades were as follows:

90 - 100 = A

80 - 89 = B

75 - 79 = C

70 - 74 = D

Anything below 70 was an F.

AND I had to walk 10 miles to school, barefoot in the snow, uphill both ways

Well the last part is not really true

First off, here's my rant. (Yes, wrong topic to a degree)

Classes start this coming Tuesday (Jan. 17), grades came out today (Jan. 12). I think the college slacked off a bit on releasing the fall 2005 semester grades.

Ok, so here they are...

..drumroll, followed by evil music...

Intro to Drawing: A

Figure and Composition Drawing: B

Intermediate Algebra:F

Not so happy this round...
