MrTwister
Hey Pro`s! Which Trip would you recommend: 1: Magic Mountain, Knott Berries Farm , Las Vegas 2: Cedar Point , Great Adventure .... 3: Florida We Plan it vaguely in September... 1. are there school out days where we must count with massively visitors in the parks? Or is there anything that I should pay attention....
Carnage
You'd probably find more to do in the north east(Cedar Point,Great Adventure, etc). Though you'd have to check into schedules if you plan to go in September. Many parks by that point will be down to weekend only schedules. At least in the northeast. SonOfBeastSucks
You will have fun wherever you go, but I would say go to Florida. There are so many different parks, and, if you plan to escape from the parks at all and do other stuff, Florida has plenty in that division as well. Also, I don't think there would be any school trips to parks that early in the school year. Have fun!
MrTwister
you´re right! If you live here in Germany you´re starved in riding extreme coasters. Here the motto is "family friendly". I think it would be California --> X,"new Flyer", Riddlers Revenge, Excelerator... So we can also ride into countryside because my girlfirend isn´t that horny about coaster. (Yosemity etc... / Zoopark like San Diego etc)
Millenniumguy
Well,I am biased toward the East, because the farthest park I went to besides Castles N' Coasters was Cedar Point. With that said, I think a trip consting of SFNE,Lake Compounce, and SFGAdv,CP will be the best choice. Oh,yes, Canobie too.
Carnage
^ You could also add in Kennywood,Six Flags Great America,Dells, etc etc. IF you want to visit the midwest/north east there's really a huge amount to keep you busy. Florida's nice if you like the Disney experience, etc. Florida and Califnornia will have the better scenery of course. Though for a purely thrill ride perspective the midwest/north east will far beat out Cali and Florida.
Millenniumguy
Remember,in the Northeast and odd thing is,there is a lot of smaller parks which are a better deal for your money then the big corporate ones. It's odd because it's much cheaper for a better experince and the whole theme park mentality thing of SFNE and SFGAdv is annoying very quickly. Places like Canobie,Lake Compounce, Lakemont,Kennywood,Conneaut Lake, Waldameer, and Martin's Fantasy Island are some smaller underlooked parks. However, they can be easily be highlights.
