coasterkid124
For once it is not snowing and miserable here in Buffalo. We just set the record for longest span of un-recordable snow since the 1890s. This is very unusual for us to go into December without any days where it has snowed. Alas, this weather will not continue for long. After next week with more temps in the 40s and 50s, I heard we will begin to see snow. And according to predictions, this year we will get hammered with snow worse than last year, and we had a major storm last November.
Philrad71
^ As long as it's not the 8 feet that some areas saw in the Southtowns!
viking86
Wind and rain all weekend. Forecast is not looking much better, tomorrow might be allright, then the rest of the week is going to be crap again. Perfect for getting into the Chrismas spirit... Philrad71
This is crazy. It's almost mid-December and it is supposed to be 63 here on Sunday. Yay El Nino!
Meteornotes
Supposed to be in the 60's here for a few days. It's December. This is awesome. dt
cal1br3tto
Well, our county is under a state of emergency due to apocalyptic rains. A neighbor's tree fell into our yard, and I guess it didn't make a sound, because no one noticed this for three days. An adjoining yard, which had been charmingly landscaped, now looks like a forest floor. I want to go explore in it, but I'm sure it's much less exciting than I think it is. viking86
The whole week was wet, cold and generally miserable. This weekend has been alright, mostly grey, but almost no rain. And this morning we were treated to this beautiful sunrise! (picture taken at 10AM)
Philrad71
Went golfing yesterday and plan on going again today...current temp is 60 degrees, albeit overcast. This beats the record for the latest that we have ever been out golfing around these parts - previous record was December 4th!
VF15
This has been an unusually warm winter so far, at least by Minnesota standards. Temperatures were in the 40s last week that melted all of the snow. We are supposed to get a few inches tonight though.
Meteornotes
It was 70 the other day. I'm all for this to continue throughout winter! dt

Johnlloyd
It's currently sunny with cloudy periods with the temperature at 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit). It seems like perfect roller coaster riding to me but wait, it's December!
viking86
It's the most wonderful time of the year... Let's have a look at the weather forecast shall we... looks like we are well on track to beat the rain record from 1967.
Philrad71
Last week it was in the 60's and then this past weekend, we got a foot of snow dumped on us. Tomorrow and through Christmas is supposed to be highs in the 50's and rain though. Looks like a rare green Christmas for us this year!
Nrthwnd
^^ LOL, nothing says "Christmas" like thunderstorms. We're getting mostly rain on Friday. That's about it.
ajc47
Over the weekend, snowplow, heavy coat and hot coffee weather. Today, 50s and visible lawns. Very unusual for the end of the year here.
viking86
After some days with absolutely terrible weather we had a very nice clear Saturday, and today we woke up to the first snow of winter 2015/2016. Not much reason to celebrate though, it will all be gone again within the next 24-48 hours with no sign of it coming back any time soon. It has been nice though, added a little extra Christmas atmosphere.
Nrthwnd
No snow this season (so far). Just wet, wet weather. And c-c-c-c-c-cold, too.
DoinItForTheFame
It went from like 75 degrees on Christmas day down to 30's today. Ugh... I hate winter time. So not ready for the cold.
Nrthwnd
Now it's nice and temperate...and sunshine reported until past New Year's!
viking86
Today we are expected to have temperatures stay below freezing for the entire day. That hasn't happened in over 2 years, since December 7th 2013. Or 756 days to be exact. Maybe not something you would expect to hear from a Norwegian, but winters on the west coast are rarely very cold here and have a tendency to consist of mostly rain...
