Right now my top 5 B&M inverted coaster is:

1 - Katun (Mirabilandia)

2 - Black mamba (Phantasialand)

3 - Batman The Ride (SFMM)

4 - Silver Bullet (KBF)

5 - Top Gun / Flightdeck (PGA/CGA)

But at the end of 2008 I am probebly able to add Nemesis (Alton Towers) and Nemesis Inferno (Thorpe Park) to this list.

And for 2009 my plans are to visit south-east USA (Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina).

Then I think i can add the following coasters to this list:

* Dueling Dragons (IoA)

* Montu (BGA)

* Afterburn (Carowinds)

* Batman The Ride (SFoG)

1) Alpengeist: front seat ride was an incredible experience, and that drop is something else

2) Raptor: By far the most intense invert I've been on. I'd even go as far as saying it's the most intense B&M I've been on.

3) Batman the Ride: Quick, smooth, and wild. Can't ask for much more

4) Great Bear: helix drop rocks mass amounts of socks

5) Talon: I just needed a number five. I actually think Talon is pretty lame

1. Batman, SFMM- Intense, compact, and plenty of directional changes that make it the best B&M I've ridden period.

2 (tied) all other Batman clones-I think MM's runs a little rougher than most, but who doesn't like it a little rough every now and again?

3. Silver Bullet, KBF- One of B&M's tamer rides, I guess to make it family friendly, but with a 54'' height requirement. Helix at the end pulls nice G's Not worth more than a 15 minute wait.

4. Raptor, CP- Okay, kinda boring layout, but with CP staffing, ride is a capacity monster.

5. More Batman clones.

My question is when limiting the topic to such a specific type of ride, how is it possible to truley get any thing out of the posts? I don't mean this negetivley but if you have only rode 4 B&M Inverts how can you garade each of them. Here's my thoughts, take a look at the different lists and see if you can gather anything from them. Here's what I see:

1-People from the midwest have The Patriot on their list

2-People from the East all have Alfi on their list

3-People that have taken a trip or live in Florida all Have Montu and DD's on their list

4- Our overseas friends love Black Mamba and Nememis

5. Our Southern friends like Flight Deck

6. And finally, our West coast friend love Silver Bullet

So, I guess there is some really good info on this thread. First, that no matter where you are, if there is a B&M Invert it will be one of your favorite. Secondly, B&m Inverts are great coasters.

BTW, here's my list:

1-Montu

2-DD's both sides, loved them both

3- Patriot (way better than most even know)(ride before you judge it)

4-Batman at STL and Dallas

In Europa we have more great B&M Inverted rollercoasters that we all love.

In the UK you can find Nemesis and Nemesis Inferno.

Spain has a Batman clone (Batman La Fuga)

Italy has the great Katun

and Germany has Black Mamba

I really love B&M inverted coasters and this is my list.

1 - Katun (Mirabilandia)

2 - Black Mamba (PHL)

3 - Batman The Ride (SFMM)

4 - Silver Bullet (KBF)

5 - Top Gun / Flight Deck (PGA / CGA)

I think most of the inverts are over rated.

Both sides of DD were okay in my opinion, the helix after the Immelman on Fire was the best part, but otherwise I wasn't too thrilled.

The only thing I liked about Alpengeist was the drop and the first immelman.

I just don't like Raptor, and I personally think it's the most overrated invert out there.

My favorite invert is still and probably will always be Batman: The Ride at SFGAm. Everythings intense, fast, and it's the one thing all the others lack IMO.

My favorites go in this order:

Montu (BGA)

Talon (Dorney)

Batman: TR (SFGAdv)

Alpengeist (BGE)

Great Bear (Hershey)

Raptor (Cedar Point)

Its not that I don't like Raptor, its just I find the others more fun. All in all they are all pretty close to one another in terms of the quality of the rides.

But I think it will change a bit, after i have been to Florida this year.

I think Montu and both Dragons will be in my top 5.
