pgathriller 0
I have been to many small amusement parks that are able to cram a great small compact coaster in there park. I think being able to fit a small coaster that packs alot of thrills in a small area is awesome. Have you ever been on any really compact coasters that are great and which ones? ParkTrips 0
Scwarzkopf portables are really good, Laser and Scorpion come to mind first. Deja Vus are also great rides in tight spaces, as are Schwarzkopf shuttle loops. Well, almost all Schwarzkopfs are great rides in small spaces. Damned Germans I like Gerstlauer spinning coaters too, and they don't take up much space.

Hercules 0
It's all about the Scwarzkopf portables. I also enjoy a good Zierer Flitzer... http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=flitzer [/url]

Blazen_AZN 0
Would a Batman be considered compact? Well, this i dont thin this is the kind of answer you are looking for But DejaVu is a really great compact coaster. But as full circuit "we really need to jam a full sized coaster in there" rollercoaster... well, i have no idea, but the schwartskopfs look pretty darn good.
Angry_Gumball 0
Thriller/Texas Tornado/Zonga packs quite a bit for a portable coaster.
Immel Man 0
Schwarzkoph shuttles, especially ones like Bullet at Flamingo Land: http://www.rcdb.com/ig818.htm Vekoma Invertigos are pretty good too.
dougr 0
Loopiing Thunder at Oaks Park in Portland, Oregon has a 31 and a half foot loop, it's a Pinfari ZL42. Don't put your locker key in your left thigh pocket, my bruise lasted about 2 weeks... Looping Thunder at Oaks Park

DenDen 0
I like the schwartzies the best. I love the Wildcat. If I ever hit the lotto, I'll get one.
Scaparri 1
Windstorms are pretty good rides. I'm also a really big fan of Gerstlauer spinning coasters.
BC 0
I would say that the B&M floorless coaster Dæmonen/The Demon at my home park Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen, Denmark qualifies as a compact coaster as it has a very small footprint... Afterall it is the smallest B&M in the world (I think)... but it is brilliant and very intense! http://www.coastersandmore.com/pic/daemonen/daemonen84g.jpg http://www.coastersandmore.com/pic/daemonen/daemonen80g.jpg

coasterzak 0
I am a big fan of the spinning wild mice as well. I LOVE the Exterminator at Kennywood. Also, compact Schwarzkopfs are a lot of fun, such as the Wildcat at Cedar Point.
Mind Eraser 0
One of my favorite compact models is the Windstorm (aka Hurricane) -- made by SDC, S&MC, and Zamperla.
mummyjohn 0
Does Batman the Ride at Magic Mountain count? That thing could fit on my block, and that's saying something. It's super twisted and compact. But usually parks looking for small coasters don't have $16,000,000 lying around. So without Batman, I don't really know. I've been on more Wild Mouse coasters than I can beleive...those things are death traps of whiplash! I've never ridden a toboggan, but those are so small, that'd probably be my pick. Stitch 0
^^ Not really, they make the typical steel "roar" and the launch isn't very loud.
HCOSurfer90 0
I love the Windstorm models like the one at my home park Adventureland.
Rockman89 0
Do the woodies at Indiana Beach count? They didn't have space so they just built them right on top of everything that was already there. So, in a sense, they do save space...
