Would you ever leave the "coaster world" for a year, just to see what its like to be a gp, and be surprised by what has occured during your absence? I think it would be cool if you went to visit your home park and there was a new coaster there that you never knew was being built. What do you think? I've been fascinated with parks for all my life and wish to continue with them for as long as I am able. For example, that new position that Al Weiss has looks pretty interesting... I don't really care about coasters as much as I used to when I was in high school, the main reason I stay in the hobby is the friends I've met. Being an enthusiast is really insane or geeky to some people, but I really don't give a crap because its fun, and forums like this (and RCPro 8) give me something enjoyable to do when I'm bored. Â Yeah I could never go back to being a GP, I hear people saying things like the Power Tower is 420 feet tall and Dragster is 240 feet tall and I just laugh. I could never be like that. At first I said: YES!, but then I thought, most of the stuff I would buy would be coaster related. Coasters pretty much go through my mind all day. The main reasons I'm still here is because of Robb, Elissa, and everyone else here for being so awesome! I mean, my friends have it and their coasters have un-banked turns, 200 foot drops followed by corkscrews, and footpaths that rise up 50 feet in the air for no reason whatsoever. Like "Free Disney annual passes for life if you don't ride a coaster for a year"...ok, that would make me consider it! But giving it up "just because"? No way.
