Erik Johnson
Yes I love Nintendo. And yes I love Mario Kart. The best Mario Kart game has been released and its only for the handheld Nintendo DS. It also can be played via wi-fi on the internet...though I have not much luck finding matches yet. The game plays very well. The graphics are better than the Nintendo 64 one, but not quite as good as the Gamecube one. Though I find this one to be superior to the Gamecube one. Check it out if you happen to be a Nintendo DS fan. Here are some pictures. Its really great, it is a system selling game for sure. So I decided to play one-player. I just did not have any luck finding a game, though I only let it try for about 2 mins. Maybe in another week or so it will be easier. It was very easy to set it up with my wireless network. OK I tried to use the wi-fi network feature. Well, I will make a better one later. Yes you can pick your name, plus you can make your own logo for your car. Booting up the game. There is even a wi-fi manual with the game to help you out...though setup was a breeze. Here is the back of the box, check out how many race tracks there are. Yes, Mario Kart DS has arrived. DeliriumTrigger
It also can be played via wi-fi on the internet...though I have not much luck finding matches yet. I got it as well...I love it. As for wifi, the server is up but is having problems.  http://www.nintendowifi.com/troubleshooting/SystemStatus.jsp  The cool thing about wifi matches is you're given a "friend code"...so when you put in your friends' codes, it'll automatically find them for you if they're on. Wes
That's actually pretty cool. Part of me really wants to try it out, but I don't want to plunk down 2 Ben's to play one game (see Xbox/Halo). Haven't played it in a while... i might go steal it back and buy this game. And what exactly is Wifi? Is it on there already or do you have to get it? And what exactly is Wifi? Is it on there already or do you have to get it? Â Well you have to use a wireless router, a hotspot or a Nintendo USB dongle dealie. Your DS has everything in it that it needs to utilize one of the above mentioned methods of online gaming.
SuperGreek1562
Oh ok! I have a wireless router... how do I hook it up to that?
Kenny
www.nintendowifi.com has all your answers. Check there to see if your router is compatible. It is very simple. I am a networking re-re and I got online in minutes. Also, the game only accepts WEP keys, not the passphrase. That was my only problem.
